A Politico report but spun here to a Trending "news" (link) partisan hit opinion piece posted under current events. Hezuz, Trump must be really desperate, the propaganda mud being flung is going everywhere, I mean everywhere.

That's not "telling how he feels", that's called a tantrum. I don't know how this has become acceptable in a presidential candidate, anyone before Trump would have been sunk by this kind of behavior. Yet, Trump is the frontrunner of the GOP. Go figure....

And, btw, in the rare moment he REALLY says how he feels, he says that his supporters look like low class.

JFK's father, Joe Kennedy- was a very astute politician. He once gave John some advice. He said- "WHO you are doesn't matter in politics. What the people THINK you are matters."
He was pointing out that the people will vote for the image they perceive on the surface- and every professional politician know this and works to create an acceptable illusion to get elected.
Joe is completely that. He no longer does it well. It's like he's crafting the image of himself on the spot with his imagination, telling the people what they want to hear- and unfortunately not skilled enough to do it in ways that don't backfire. But, it's worked. " I lost my son Beau in Iraq", a claim that buys sympathy. Except Beau died in the US of a brain tumor. "I graduated in the upper half of my class in law school", No joe- there are records, you graduated in the bottom 10%. Joe knows the game, he's just not good at it anymore. He still hides his real character, but the illusions are getting very transparent, and the consequences of this lever incompetence in the most critical job in America is killing us. Still, some people can't see the forest for the trees- that being the illusion they bought and don't want to admit was fake.

Trump on the other hand, not being a politician- is a person with a very strong sense of identity that makes no apology for who he is. He is what he is, doesn't hide it and you can see it- and you can rely on it.

Everything people do that involves contact with others relates to the way we present ourselves. We want to be accepted, we want to tell people what they want to hear.
My brother once asked a woman out, and she said- "You wouldn't like me. I pick my nose, and I fart in bed." He was shocked- and replied, "Oh my god- a real person!". Honesty, up front. Awesome.

People in all walks of life present a facade, an illusion of themselves, to get what they want. It's why half our marriages fail, and many of those who don't are functional failures- we've bought something that doesn't exist and sold the same. You can be a fake on a date for example, but when you make a 24/7 life with another person, the real identities come out and control the success. You have to choose which you want- the real person that shows you all they are, or the fake that hides what they are and what they don't have from you. I learned to be a real person and build relationships with real people. Choose the real person, complete with real flaws, and those who can accept and understand me, and my real flaws. Took me a long time to learn that, but it changed my life, brought me genuine partnerships and made it very successful.

Trump collides with the political norm of pretending to be what people want you to be. Few politicians can afford to do that, they don't have enough of the right stuff to be successful without the illusion. Trump doing it scares hell out of them. Worse- the practice of illusion and all the corruption it fosters is offensive to genuinely qualified and honorable candidates; they don't want that kind of job. The public is so used to frauds and false promises they accept it as the way the game is played, despite the dishonesty and inability to perform. That isn't the fault of politicians for selling it- it's ours for buying it. If Trump had faked it, you would have told yourself he was doing a good job.

Trump and Biden are polar opposites. If you ignore the hype and propaganda and just look at what they did in office, that picture is very clear. You just have to decide if you want to handle what's real, or be pandered to and baffled with bullshit.

That's clearly telling it how he feels. Now you may not like the verbiage he used but nobody can say that's not telling it how he feels. He could have used politician speak like Joe does. But instead he blasted those human pieces of garbage exactly like he should have.

And btw I'm not sure why you're surprised at the political discourse or the degradation thereof. Your side vilified Trump from even before day one. Making jokes at his expense and how he would never be president. Making fun of him on the campaign trail. Then when you realized he was a serious threat the democrats hired a foreign operative to fabricate a fake dossier with fake accusations like him peeing on people and then used that dossier to initiate and unconstitutional spying process on his campaign. When that didn't work and you lost the election your side said from DAY ONE your intent was to impeach him and get him out of office. Your trash media spent four years doing NOTHING but attempting to undermine his presidency while they CONSTANTLY took shots at his looks his weight his penis his hair his skin tone his wife his children and his grandchildren. You initiated two impeachments against him and now that he's become a threat again the Dems have weaponized the DOJ in an effort to throw him in prison for 400+ years which is a death sentence...

And you have the ****ing audacity to sit up here and cry about the degradation of the political discourse? Are you ****ing kidding right now?

These outbursts are a sign of dementia. Reports say Biden gets really nasty to his staff in meetings.

Well that's what happens when you don't know where you're at and people you don't recognize are telling you to do stuff you don't know why you're doing.

Running Biden for second presidential term is elder abuse. It’s hard to believe that the Democrats are dumb enough to think that Biden is the only candidate who can beat Trump.

Hardly. When Biden said MAGA is destroying the country. MAGA whined and cried that he is dividing the country and that he is being mean.

MAGA will latch out to anything to make democrat look bad. Calling someone a "sick ****" is hardly a childish meltdown.

Meanwhile the dear leader obsesses over Clinton, Obama, Biden, Soros every day and righties think he is perfectly normal.

This gives me great hope. I didn't think Biden even had the mental capacity for a meltdown. This means he's got more brains than I thought and also since the left is already trying to cheat the election with ballot rigging, there's a good chance for 4 more years of Joe or even worse than that, 1 more year of Joe and 3-7 years of KLUELESS-KAMALALALA

Actually, he doesn’t have a temper issue, unlike your beloved fuhrer.

Your hero is the one who throws ketchup and food at the wall, and stands up and bellows total BS, and has public hissy fits when he hears anything he doesn’t want to..

I wouldn’t think you trump disciples would have a problem with someone expressing disgust in private.

Your hero does it in public.

    I don't agree.

Our form of government doesn't work without there being honest negotiation, compromise and then acceptance when the majority disagree with you. Democracy is not the same as autocracy.

For our system to work, our representation needs to be adult, not childish. It needs to be wise for our country, not unwilling to cooperate..

We are a nation of laws that apply to all, with respect to our constitution.

Trump has NONE of these qualities..

I agree completely. I wish the rest of the electorate did as well. But unfortunately, we live in an age where compromise is seen as weakness, or worse, treason to your side.

And, that is supposed to be the defense of Biden?
Push Trump hate long enough and strong enough, and Biden will no longer look like a corrupt clown with dementia?
Hell of a plan. Only the Democrats could conceive something like that.

Biden is already looking like last week's toast. By November- just a smudge on the history books.

Well, in this thread, the defense of Trump's consistent and well-documented childish PUBLIC behavior seems to be unverified reports that Biden maybe once used the f word in the oval office. Of course, blinded by Trump love, it may be difficult to see this.

    “Reports indicate” ?

Whose reports ? Some right wing fake news fabricator ?

Was this supposed “reaction” anything like the Orange Stain’s hissy fit about the opposing attorney getting fed lunch at Mar a Lago ?

Sorry, the Orange Stain is the, hands down , hissy fit Queen of the current generation.

No, it is a charge against Trump.

Republicans can choose a legitimate candidate.

Trump's characteristics have NOTHING to do with Biden.
