While recent polls show that President Joe Biden's job approval rating just keeps falling, the latest Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll saw Biden's approval rating fall below former President Donald Trump's worst-ever rating.

According to the Washington Examiner, Trump's approval rating never dipped below 38% in four years of Rasmussen polls, while Biden's approval rating was measured at 37% by the polling company on Friday.

The White House has tried to fix Biden's steady slide in the polls with more travel and speeches and staffing changes to no avail, and now some Democrats looking to keep their jobs in November are distancing themselves from him as well, the news outlet reports.

A record-low of Democrats — 65% — currently approve of the president, which is down from the low 70% range.

Voters' concerns about the commander-in-chief range from the state of the economy to soaring inflation to energy prices and seem likely to influence this year's midterm congressional elections.…

    Joe
Biden is so very unpopular. Very few now support his job performance. Most Americans now know that we as a nation are on the wrong track under his “leadership”. This news report shows how low Biden has fallen to.

The more Biden speaks the more people understand he's incompetent and senile. And that God-awul Vice President of his is worse.

Looks like you're on to something. America agrees.

Harvard-Harris Poll: Trump Most Popular Politician in America

Americans hold nearly unanimously unfavorable views of political leaders, but former President Donald Trump stands as the most popular of all politicians in the latest Harvard-Harris poll.

There were just two American politicians with a net-positive favorability rating and both are popular Republicans: Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis (Plus-6: 34% favorable, 28% unfavorable) and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. (Plus-3: 23% favorable, 20% unfavorable).

But Trump's popularity soars above all on favorability. Trump has the highest "very" favorable rating (26%). He is 42% favorable when you include the 16% who responded he was "favorable."

The democrats were sure Biden would never make it to the second term and if he did they were sure he would never run again. But it looks like he’s going to try lol. And they’re terrified of it lol

mswan that deserves it’s own thread

But I’d quote the original poll as your source so you don’t have to hear about crybabies talking about the source being biased

Wonder what all those centrists who switched to the dark side in November 2020 are thinking now?

Lol…trump must be jealous about losing one of his few firsts.
At least he can feel secure in the knowledge that he is the only president to attempt a seditious coup after losing an election.

When you can’t defend Biden then go after Trump, 1/6, 2 scoops, feeding the fish, MLK bust, etc.

No one is defending Biden. The people that voted for him are not in a cult and have no need to defend him.

Unlike trump he doesn’t have a very high “floor” which is the number of people that would support him if he shot someone in the middle of Times Square (or pushed to steal an election).

In fairness, there were a lot of right wingers saying that there was a plan for him to step down within 2 years to make Kamala (ugh) president

If he does run, he is going to get competition in a primary like Carter did. Has a sitting president ever been primaried?

Biden has zero chance to win in Nov 24.

Biden’s approval rating means nothing at this point, just like Trump’s in July of 2018 or Obama’s in July of 2010 and so on. Whatever these president’s approval rating today is or was, it means little to nothing as to their reelection chances 2 plus years from now. Trump had a 41% approval in July 2018, 43% in Nov 2020, he lost. Obama had a 44% approval rating in July 2010, but a 53% approval in Nov 2012, he won reelection. Biden is at 38% according to RCP, what his approval rating come Nov 2024, no one knows.

What may be more important today than reelection chances is that Trump lost 44 seats in Nov 2018, Obama lost 63 seats in 2010. How will Biden do in this year’s midterms? Projected today, the GOP gains 18-20 house seats and loses a senate seat. Limiting the loses to these would be in my opinion a victory for the Democrats, especially the one seat gain in the senate. But this is as of today, not November. All subject to change. Here’s the history of president’s whose approval rating was around 40%. The historical average for a president with an approval rating of around 40% is losing 48.5 house seats and losing 6 senate seats. The numbers today say that isn't going to happen.

Biden 2022 38% ?????? projected loss of 18-20 house seats, gain of 1 senate seat as of 9July

Trump 2018 40% lost 44 house seats, 3 senate seats

Obama 2010 42% lost 63 house seats, 6 senate seats

    G.W. Bush 2006 33% lost 33 house seats, 6 senate seats

Bill Clinton 1994 42% lost 54 house seats, 9 senate seats

Democrats attempted a seditious coup in 2016-17 after they found out Trump won the election.

How many Democrats were charged with sedition in 2016 and 2017?

How many of you guys have been charged with sedition?

I have been expressly told by your ilk that unless someone is charged it didn’t happen and is just hyper partisan emotional hysteria.

Biden is dealing with the after effects of covid, yep, many will blame him for it

fact is, Biden's recovery is too bigly fast and bigly strong (everyone says so), suppliers did not expect it and were not prepared, now we have a supply issue

.1 pt from the next high which was for only one month. Biden has maintained it for 3 months.

    Let’s go Biden!
