Report on the phone call today by my Hospital staff

Here I do not intend to bore you with her discussion today about my diet. I have type 2 diabetes.
I will discuss what we talked about as to CV19.
She told me not to pay attention to the legion of self promoted experts on CV19.
She told me the Delta Variant definitely is worse than what we got last year. She said that 98 percent of the deaths happen to the non vaccinated group. That for we who got vaccinated, sure we can get sick, but we will not need to be hospitalized nor will we die.

I asked her about masks.

My question is this.

Me? Will the population have to wear masks for the rest of our existence?

She said, that is a very good question. As health professionals we can't tell you that you will ever see a day from here on where you do not need the mask.

So from the curable Trump disease, We now have the incurable Biden disease.

All cheer for China and the spread of a disease of Bats to humans to Americans.

 

I don't give a crap what Fauci and his gang say about masks. NO..MANDATES..EVER!

 

In my wife's hospital where she works, you were allowed to refuse to get the flu vaccine every fall without fear for your job but if you did refuse, you had to mask up around others. This was policy for years before COVID-19.

It was policy before masks became political.

It was policy because masks are effective.

 

I agree but I support mask wearing during a pandemic but not forever regardless of the 20% effectiveness of even transmitting or contracting the flu per say. If that's the case, our immune systems will not be as efficient and I may as well be in a bubble.

 

I go to St. Alphonsus in Idaho for health care. They will refer me to other offices staffed by others on occasions.
Every place where there are Doctors, we must wear a mask in their offices.
I went from the Dr. Office this week to the super market. They recommend masks be worn. I did not notice anybody wearing a mask as they have in the past.

I am afraid that this disease may cause all of us to keep our mask on hand just to gain entry.

 

This is the kind of advice my hospital warned me about. The idea of not wearing masks is I am afraid with us forever until they can make a vaccine to stop it.

 

Wherever a private business such as grocery store, hardware store, or doctor's office requests wearing masks I do. But I will really resist mandates from government

 

Or more accurately, some masks have as much as 85% effectiveness. The masks the public wears are functionally useless. It does make sense for hospitals to require the kinds of masks hospital workers use for the right situations.
