I have never known anything that was forever. Taxes change with every administration. The next time someone sends you $2,000 per year, but only for to years... so you don't want it... send it to me.

I hold a patent for "A Six Degree of Freedom Piezoelectric Device for Laser Aiming".
    I didn't pay anyone anything.
    I AM an engineer

Corporations and the rich arguably depend on the military more, so it is fair.
Corporate taxes fund the military, income and sales taxes fund everything else.

Defense funding, like most things, come from the GENERAL FUND in the United States. What country are YOU in?

Sounds like it was your idea as well.
The point was to demonstrate how one can work for a poor person. He asked if you would rather work for a corporation or a poor person, and my example was to highlight the benefits of working for a poor person with an idea that needs your skill set.

Debt is what finances bottom up economics in some cases.

It places them in the economic circle of operations. Canceled debt is arguably better then a hand out imo. They arnt the same as a debt has stipulations.

I have worked WITH some inventors that asked me to consult for them. Most notably on a laser system to help snipers determine the effects of wind throughout the path of the bullet and another system which detects wounds and automatically sends out a signal about the event to medevac and command elements. (Fun stuff)

But after the military I found it preferable to have a regular salary and benefits working for large aerospace companies. I never felt I could save the world. I concentrated on providing for my family.

Based on that logic Trump intended to lose then
Gotcha. So he set an early expiration date for his term then.

taxes are often like gun control with the left-they don't really believe the arguments they push to support more taxation and more gun control. its rather political weaponization

First forget marginal rates it is the EFFECTIVE rate that matters.

Second were the increases in the deficits during Reagan due to revenues falling or spending increasing?

Third government does not have a claim to a certain percentage of what the private sector produces ie GDP. The goal is to grow the economy faster then the government so we can keep decreasing the share of GDP the government is taking. You don't do that by taking more and more capital out of the private economy.

Fourth I would challege you to prove to me that the Clinton 29% capgains rate produced more economic activity and tax revenue than the Gingrich/Kaisch 21% rate and especially the Bush 15% rate.

I would also challenge as to which of those tax policies last produced budget surpluses and deficits under $200B.

Biden cut spending American lives abroad. Thats worth every penny.

Are you referring to Biden's cowardly skedaddle from Afghanistan, abandoning our citizens and allies while giving billions in weapons to the Taliban? The act that encouraged and emboldened Putin to attack the Ukraine?

that's not true-in cases of social upheaval, the rich have far mobility than the poor.

The act that got us out of Afghanistan, or we would still be there and dealing with Putin.

None of that equipment was worth one more life then it cost.

Biden's cowardly skedaddle emboldened Putin to invade Ukraine. Biden proved himself a weak little coward. Putin took advantage of that. China's invasion of our airspace with no consequences reinforced Biden's demonstration of his weakness and cowardice. He did it again by giving the Russians no problem shooting down our multimillion dollar aircraft over the Black Sea. China will probably be next. With Biden making us weaker and weaker every day, they'd be fools not to grab Taiwan.
