What's wrong with inequality? Some achieve much more than others. And a flat tax would help the middle class.

That's what the right-wing is for -- a consolation prize for the laggers and slackers.

Nice illustration of the point. Flat taxes take tax burden off the wealthy and dump it on the middle class. You've been sold yet another bill of goods.

Giving more money to the poor through government in any way makes the rich richer. The poor will always spend their money as fast as they get it, and the rich will continue to collect more and more.

Not true at all. It can make the rich more numerous. But in actuality not giving the poor money makes the rich richer, and some rich not rich. But the few incredibly rich. Those few have so much influence they trick idiot Republicans into believing they're doing what's best for everyone.

    You sound like a Marxist.

Why should the poor not have to pay their fair share of the taxes?

If they can acheive this than their goal would be successfull. That is how it works. Simplestines are easily maipulated and follow the most simple concept thrown at them and they support the great divide. It's called maipulating the dumb, and there are a lot of dumb people in the uSA who allow their media and politicians to manipulate them. Hence, the condition of the USA.

We can thank the great public school systems and religion for the easily manipulated. Why? because it is easy to dumb down the massess and manipulate them with less effort.

Soon as the broadcast media monopolies take over the internet content in the USA, we will all be subjected to propaganda and manipulation. And with the massess being simple minded, there will be more destructive legislation in the future.

So get use to it. This has always been the trend, but now we will see more of it. Bigger divide in the uSA. between the smart and the dumb, and the dumb are winning.

Greedy money grubbers on the top

Intelligen rich people in the middle

    Dumbed down on the bottom.

But the bottom is going to get bigger with the middle shrinking.

And the greedy will always engineer more ways to stay the same size and make the others pay them.

    Pure American political hypocrisy!

Those on top remove the will of the American nation and use them as fodder for Zionist AIPAC sponsored wars!

Thank god American poor can rely on Charity from Venezuela!

Imagine....the American tax payer gives billions of dollars to AIPAC and Israel all with the thanks of those who are allowed to stand as senators and for congress! AT THE EXPENSE OF AMERICA!

Waken up and smell the coffee!

You are correct. The USA is just a pawn of the corporations and investment bankers and media moguls that manipulate public opinion to the ties they have in isreal. Hence the negative reputation of the uSA in the Arab/Muslim world. As long as isreal has loyal politicans in congress and the senate who sit back and pull the strings of political policy for corporation mogules, we will see the slow destruction of the USA.

Other countries should take note as the USA is writing the blueprit for failure after it has peaked out on success. I do believe the fall will be as long and slow as the rise to power.

Right, cause the poor spread their purchases out among all the small businesses in the community...like walmart, or k-mart, or McDs. Sure giving the poor makes it to where there are more rich. I guess that 1% is growing every day huh?
