Republicans are obviously pro-birth as evidenced by all the anti-abortion comments and legislation. However, there is a lot more to life than just being born, but the quality of life is not a concern for Republicans.

When was the last time that Republicans proposed, promoted, and passed legislation that had a beneficial effect on the quality of life for every American? Have they passed legislation that did any of the following?

Provide nutrition and health care for pregnant women to reduce maternal mortality (very high in the USA) and to produce healthier infants.

Provide better nutrition and health care for infants and children.

Provide better public schools and education for all children.

    Provide occupational training.

Make public college education affordable and available.

Provide basic security for all Americans (health care and social security).

If you are aware of any such legislation passed by Republicans, please respond with very specific information, not generalizations.

That's accurate. Look at how much they love to hate people that don't look, love and/or worship the way they do. They don't give a damn about other people. I'm no longer a Christian but I agree with the Sister's statement 100%.

As an abuse advocate, I see how many NOT Republicans are in the trenches with me actually helping those "precious little lives".

It's like their trite "thoughts and prayers" while refusing to discuss responsible gun ownership. They just don't give a damn.

For what? There are almost NO "Republicans" anymore, MOST are tRumpublican RINO's that have NO clue what "Republican" once meant.
tRumpublican RINO's are about one man without regard to what's best for These United States; their "responsibility" begins and ends with sticking up for tRaitor tRump NO MATTER WHAT and putting down ANYTHING that threatens him in ANY WAY.

Not really since they don't want to be responsible to children they caused to be born.

    Get real...
Republicans and Democrats are both Pro-Birth and Anti-Life... Republicans and Democrats are both Pro-life and Anti-birth....
To try and speak for either one shows how uniformed and just plain full of misinformation this post is about......

Republicans don't cause the children to be born. The couple having sex caused the children to be born and should be responsible for the children's education, nutrition, and bulletproof vests.

By republican's preventing a woman from getting an abortion they are causing the birth of a child who would otherwise not be born

That's where responsibility comes in play. Use protection, don't have sex, or accept that a child may be created during sex.

Which doesn't change the fact that by republican's preventing a woman from getting an abortion they are causing the birth of a child who would otherwise not be born

They are "pro-birth" mainly because and when that is the only other alternative to abortion.

You can talk to plenty of Republicans who want women to use some birth control, or want them to be more careful about which men they have sex with.

I'm not sure I'd necessarily characterize anti-abortion as all pro-birth, when there are numerous other ways to avoid pregnancy.

Then why stop at killing them before they're born?

Certainly you would find it repugnant to kill the poor vulnerable and disadvantaged.

I can give you a long list of times when they've opposed legislation that would have a deleterious impact on the quality of life for Americans.

    Yes they have.

Maybe not "all children", but yes. Republicans have tried to expand school choice, something Democrats have opposed.
Why do you think a family would want to send their child to a private school if it were not better?

As a Republican, I never had the crime issue explained to me until I talked to my daughter in law, who flat out told me abortion cuts down on feral children and culls those predisposed to crime.
I don’t think most Republicans see that side of it. Can you imagine saying that to Mitt Romney? He’d faint.

    Republicans are not against this.

It's progressives in the academic systems that want all the available money funneled into colleges.

Apprenticeship training actually provided by and working for the company is the best form of occupational training.

Oh, and some conservatives are just more "anti-murder" than they are "pro-life".
Read about the difference between "negative rights" and "positive rights".

Like the difference between not giving a starving person food compared to setting a homeless person's cardboard box on fire while they are sleeping in it.

Hmm, doesn't the Left make healthcare less affordable by insisting on mandates and huge amounts of medical legal liability?

You know, when you force the insurance company to have to pay for something, they have to raise their prices.

And if you want to give some patient 15 million dollars because a little mistake was made at the hospital, someone has to pay for that too. And that means higher hospital prices.

These ridiculously high lawsuit payouts do not happen in any other country.

The point of abortion is to not be pregnant.
