OMG! Get out the popcorn! This is going to be hilarious. It seems that some people never learn. Santorum is basically a snowball in hell right now. But hey, welcome back to the clown car Dickie! There's plenty of room for your other friends like Bachmann. Please, bring them along. It's going to be a fun ride. :)

Of everybody running the very last person I would ever vote for would be Santorum. I am a right winger conservative guy but I'm not (*)(*)(*)(*)ing crazy!

I kind of can't believe they're even letting him run again.

This election's Republican Primary is going to be yet another referendum against the Religious Right. Those people need to learn that nobody wants anything from them save campaign funds.

Not really. This election, like the last several, will be between the minority identity politics crowd and the party of free stuff, versus everyone else.

I wish some of these candidates would realize ther's no way they're winning the nomination, let alone a snowball's chance in hell at the Presidency. All Rick is doing here, is weakening the GOP. Coming 2nd in the GOP is like coming maybe fifth or sixth among all total candidates.

I am not sure why anyone would consider voting for Rick Santorum. Rick doesn't like homosexuality. So what, don't engage in it if you feel that way. Rick claims to be conservative yet he wants government in everyone's bedroom. I just don't see who he is going to appeal to, conservatives who like a more intrusive government? I just don't get it. Rick needs to go away and the sooner the better.

Rick finished 2nd last time. That means he's next up for the nomination just like Romney and McCain were

    Just like Hillary is. :)

The difference, however, is that Santorum won't be getting the nomination like the other three have.

Dem primary's havent worked that way. If they did it would have neen Bill Bradley in 2004, or Edwards in 08.

Well, they haven't worked that way up until now.

I think Santorum will be lucky to finish third this time around...

How likely do you think Santorum is to end up as the nominee?

When I was 6 years old I starred as Piglet in an after school daycare "Winnie the Pooh & Tigger Too" play and I'm pretty sure that we had a bigger crowd than this announcement.

They must know. They can't be that stupid. However, they also saw Palin and Huckabee get really rich from running in 2008. It helps with things like book sales and speaking fees. If you do really well you might even get a cushy 7 figure job at FOX News. Running for president has become a viable career path.

ROFL. No to Biden. Actually, no to anyone in the Democratic Party. If city/regional politics is any clue, none of them are ready for primetime.

I think many of them are attempting to position themselves for the VP spot on somebody or other's ticket.

He doesn't stand a chance. Here is the latest polls on the Republican nominations:

And then here is something that might interest you. I don't know if you follow Nate Silver's 538 site. If not there is a lot of good info and articles from a non-partisan point of view. A rarity these days.
