Republican Florida Senator Rick Scott on Monday released the latest installment in a series of television ads targeting President Joe Biden and promoting Scott’s "Rescue America" plan.

"Joe Biden has destroyed America’s economy," Scott says in the ad. "It’s time to be honest with the American people. Joe Biden is unfit for office and should resign."

The ad features a video of the presidentreferring to Sen. Scott as being from Wisconsin, and warns that Biden is forcing America into a recession. In a previous ad, Scott called Biden "incompetent and confused."…

…The ads are part of a seven-figure television buy to promote Scott’s "Rescue America" plan: an 12-point guide for how Republicans can "save this country" should they reclaim power after the midterms. It covers areas from education, to immigration, to the economy….

That may be the case, but the Biden administration is a disaster regardless

Biden is indeed bad, but Rick Scott, DeathSantis and Treasonous Trump are the best the GOP has to offer? God help us.

Note to the mods though, this thread should be in either opinions or elections since this is clearly a campaign ad of Scott's opinions.

    Thanks in advance.

Actually Karen busybody mod wannabe it is not an ad. It is a news report regarding the current event that Sen. Scott has initiated an ad campaign and reported upon the contents there of and the Senators reasons and motives in doing so. The headline is clear that it’s a news report regarding what the senator said and why he said it.

He definitely should resign, though he definitely won’t. He is the worst president we have ever had.

Your OP already identified this to clearly be a campaign ad. So why are you arguing? LOL

Clearly, Biden is failing to destroy the US economy.

It is not a campaign ad. It is a news report about a US Senator who created one and why he did so and what it is about. It is NOT the ad. Now try to get that straight in your mind.

Certainly Biden and the Dems are destroying the American Economy.

Another phony claim from Joe Biden’s happy economy falls apart: Consumers are maxing their credit cards.

The Average family is now paying an additional FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH for the same stuff.

Lying Joe: "Since I took office, families are carrying less debt; their average savings are up."

He's a liar. Savings rates are down, and down sharply:

    Savings plunging, Debt is soaring:

B of A: “Revolving Credit (outstanding credit on credit cards) is Making New Highs,” .. and Personal Savings as % of Income “is Hitting Multi-Year Lows – so credit up/savings down suggests to me an accelerated Consumer ‘burn’ down of their above normal cash pile ..” pic.twitter.com/lP7Mqh205U
    — Carl Quintanilla (@carlquintanilla) June 13, 2022

Real income is down, and expenses are up, way up.

"Look for a wave of job losses starting this fall."
    — Owoodfr77 (@owood77) June 13, 2022

"Consumers are like a duck paddling on increasingly heavy seas, inflation taking away all of their spending power, and leaving some in the throes of debt."

Time to make changes. Clearly Biden and the Dems are unwilling to implement solutions because they collide with their Green New Deal madness.

When they continually post lies and hysterical propaganda as a current event, it’s hard to remember what nonsense they’ve already spouted.

The plutocratic socialist Sen. Scott is an economic illiterate who is not worthy of being taken seriously other than how to be a CEO of Columbia/HCA when the hospital company was fined $1.7 billion for Medicare fraud and claimed to be unaware of the company's criminality.

Your redundancy aside, it is Senators like Scott, who back Trump no matter what, will cost Republicans the majority in the Senate.
