It won't be to much longer before some vaccines are available in moderate quantities. The question is; how much risk would you be willing to take on a drug that hasn't been completely tested to our current standards. Or from another country where it hadn't been thoroughly tested.
If I had the Coronavirus(or if I 'have' it and am merely asymptomic since that seems to be a possibility for my age group(2), I would be open to any testing of treatments whether US-made or not. Given the threat of the virus, especially to loved ones I have nothing to lose. Anything I could lose, I was predestined to lose in the first place.
28? (28.) I see your point. But, honestly I don't know how widespread that vaccine "testing" will become.
Yep 28.(I had no idea it'd become a smiley and I actually spent some time with my grandmother watching TV so when I came back I couldn't edit lol.) I don't know either, but I'd be willing to get foreign medications, etc. Frankly, it's where I most agree with Bernie Sanders. Competition for these drug companies here in the US and freedom of choice for Americans. I remain unsure of Medicare for All, and am a proponent instead of the Private Option(with a double-tier system) as a warm up if you will. But I do agree with the need for health care reform.
My money is on China. They won't maintain the roller coaster of containment. They will try one on a city of 10 or 12 million. If it works okay they have a winner. If not
We Agree There. But, I hear you about Foreign Medications (that may have been fast-tracked). For some reason an 8 followed by right paren = So, if you ever find the need to put a paren after an 8, just add a period after the 8. (28.) But, once again, I totally agree with you about the need for health care reform.
No way. For the drug to be effective, from a research standpoint, they have to first infect you with the coronavirus and then see if the drug cures you.
