Well, well- that's thoroughly bad news for every racist and Islamophobic bigot who associates criticism of Israeli fascism with ' antisemitism'.
This is an important statement from an important source. Such slur-mongers should be directed here in future.

We are not antisemitic. We are pro-Palestinian.

Except when you use the term "jews" instead of Israelis or zionists while making sweeping generalizations or clamoring about genocide et.al., that is.

Interesting that most "normal" people of moderate intelligence can discern the difference between criticism of Israeli policies and anti-semitism. Considering the political battles on-going within Israel itself, the very vocal minority that are hyper sensitive to any external criticism of anything Israel does as jew hating, makes them look foolish, imo.

The speaker was followed by Netanyahu who blamed the Allies for the death of 4 million Jews.

But of course not every criticism of Israel is antisemitic. I critique Israel all the time :)

By the way, is there any criticism of Palestinians that should not be summarily dismissed? What'd yea think?

Rivlin seems different. He has spoken up for instance about the prejudice towards the Palestinians and apologised for at least one previous massacre - a very different approach to the ever more to the right of the entire Israeli political thinking. I thought he might be in the direction of the quote below. Not sure but tried a search. If this is true then I would say his position is very different from the position Israel is moving in.

his conception of equal rights for all people being pretty much a lone voice. Israel is moving towards annexing 60% of what was to have been the Palestinian state and leaving the Palestinians in isolated bantustans with no rights for ever.

    I'm always careful to differentiate between ' Jews ' , ' Israelis' and ' neoZionists '.
Naturally, those Jews who think and act like neoZionists should be considered to be neoZionists and treated accordingly.

"Not every" means many are, you can bet he would treat your statements as anti-semite.

no, you are not always careful.

Naturally anyone who thinks and acts like a neo zionist should be considered one, just like anyone who thinks and acts like a jew hater should be considered one and each treated accordingly. The difference between us is that you think the former is far worse than the latter and I think they are both equally bigoted.

That's easily disproven- post some evidence.

If you can't find any simply apologize and withdraw your slur.

NeoZionist slur-mongers are ten for a shekel.

Moon, I've been here for some time and we have engaged in numerous debates and discussions even sometimes agreeing.

And it ain't no slur its a statement of fact that you well know.

I don't think you are rabid jew hater, just a rabid pro palestinian who blames jews/israelis/neo-zionists for everything, in a somewhat random order depending on how irritated you are with the poster or the post.

And you also know that I am far from a neozionist.
