I'll keep saying it: 10,000s of babies in ICU's across America at any given moment. The numbers aren't declining. This is a new, and national shame. If you could have told someone living as late as 1995 that this phenomenon would be occurring in America, they would think it impossible. The solution doesn't require force. It requires our society's leaders to acknowledge the tragedy. No one is talking about it. The solution is for politicians to talk about it. For the NFL to make it a pink ribbon cause. For the View to discuss it. For celebrities to post about it. That's all that is required in the long run. I'm not Fauci, shooting for zero COVID at any cost to the republic. There will always be babies in ICU'S due to drug use (and other harmful acts such as an abusive husband), but 10000+ at any given moment is an absolute shame. Off topic? No, this is fundamentally about abortion. That's because, as a society, there is simply no way to begin the discussion of the solution to the above problem without acknowledging the worth of the fetus.
Illicit drugs contribute very little to the number of babies in ICU's - unless you're talking about tobacco. More likely causes include stress, overweight, underweight, under the age of 20, over the age of 35, low income, in vitro, infection, carrying more than 1 baby, and tobacco.
