No doubt they were the two best teams. As a Bama fan, I felt the coaching let the game get away from them by not running the ball. Just like Ohio State did this year with Michigan State. If you have a sledge hammer, use it.
Next season will be interesting within the SEC LSU might finally pass the ball and if they do, they will be tough the Hawgs will depend on what little brother Allen does as QB now that big bro has moved on. They played tough in the final stretch Auburn- please, bowl elegibility is questionable Ole Miss- they could get it done with nephew Kelly staying his final year Tenn- here is another team which will either be dominant or fall apart, they will not be in between Gators- 7 or 8 wins at most, that's it SC- rebuilding Dawgs- tough to say but not contending Vandy- please Mizzou- are the students done protesting about being offended? A+M- 6 wins will be tough KY- stick with basketball Ms State- rebuilding so the west will eat it's own IMO, LSU, Rebels, Hawgs and Tide would dominate other conferences
LSU - will fire Les Miles next season if he has 3 losses. His contract will be cheaper to buy out and so will Jimbo Fisher's from FSU. Ark - they are simply the most hyped up 5 loss team in the nation. The SEC WANTS them to be good so the West can claim they are quality wins, but they are simply mediocre AU - Malzon is going to be Chisk'd this year. AU is stupid in how they reward coaches who come in and win because they have one good player fall in their lap like Cam Newton. Au in 13 was a 4 loss team (during the regular season) but got incredibly lucky throughout the year with a batted up (not down) hail mary against UGA, the kick 6.... They were good enough to keep it close with anyone, but it was not coaching that had them winning games. Of course, they extend his contract, and will be very expensive to buy out if at the end of 16 Ole Miss - opens with FSU, so we get to see both teams in action and learn a lot about them opening the season. UT - the best team in the east, but will lose to UF anyways UF - very fluffy schedule this year. Their record was not indicative of the level they were. They were not good. FSU completely dominated them in every aspect, even defense. UF seems to think they are a defensive juggarnaut, and they aren't. They are not developing qbs through the redshirt system and will start a true freshman this upcoming year, or at the very least, will make a true freshman play 2nd string, but still burn a year of eligibility. I ref a team that their new Franks kid came from. We asked them what they thought of Franks. They said "Franks is just one more reason I'm glad I cheer for FSU" He's got some big dooshbag issues going in. We'll see if they turn into more while in college. SC - I hope that Muschamp waltzes into Jortesville and beats the gaytors. UF fan's heads would implode from rage. lol UGA - we'll see. A+M - moral of this story... beat Bama one time, you will get preseason overrated for the next 10 years.
My heart felt that Bama would win but I was kinda hoping Clemson would keep it together and come out on top instead. Great game regardless. Too bad there's no more college football.
College ball has it's problems, no doubt.... but I like it so much better than NFL. The traditions, the pageantry of the schools, the bands..... it all makes for a great atmosphere on a nice October saturday.
also the shirtless men in the stands tend to be younger, not as fat or sweaty. So when they are standing next to you the stink isn't so bad and your wife isn't begging to leave
well, during one FSU game, it rained. THE ENTIRE TIME. and not just a little rain, it was a steady hard rain and it was cool. By halftime, she was was begging to leave. but the coeds are still young and pretty at NCAA
