..After Realizing He Might Win Election

LEXINGTON, VA—Reacting to news Monday that his performance in last week’s domestic policy debate had significantly boosted his poll numbers and put him closer to the White House than ever before, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney reportedly spent the afternoon frantically trying to figure how the tax plan he has proposed could actually work. “Okay, now, think—there’s got to be a way we can make these numbers add up, there’s just gotta be,” a profusely sweating Romney reportedly told his advisers while furiously calculating how in the world he could institute an across-the-board 20 percent cut in the marginal tax rate while balancing the federal budget within a decade and giving the Pentagon $2 trillion it hasn’t even requested. “So the plan states that I can afford to lower taxes for middle-class Americans by closing loopholes and deductions, but even if I cap taxable deductions at $17,000 per family like it says here, that doesn’t even come close to paying for the cost of the $5 trillion in tax breaks, does it? S***. Who’s got a calculator?” At press time, a visibly agitated Romney was considering calling President Barack Obama to see if he had any advice for tightening up the plan.

Hahahahaha, this is exactly how it's happening, actually.

Leave it to *******s to take a piece of satire and pretend it is real. No shame, no brains and no class is how one can define many liberals on this board.

Um...did you need me to tell you it was satirical? Satire only works if it reflects reality, my dim-witted troll.

Which is why you post it in the politics section and claim it is "exactly how it's happening, actually" instead of posting it in the humor section where it belongs, right? You do realize that removes the label of satire and makes it what you believe is actually happening, right? Your own words betray the ignorance and bitter liberal angst of your posts. But please, continue to go on and prove my point more and more.

It backs up the opinion that this is what's happening; taking it to the exaggerated degree that this article does makes it SATIRE. Without a kernel of truth, it would be neither funny nor satirical. You really want to debate satire with me? You'll lose.

You really want to pretend something is satire when you said it is, and I quote, EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING? Shows you have no clue as to what the difference is between real life and satire. Maybe it is time for you to re-examine your values if you can't tell the difference between satire and your actual values.

Preceded by laughter. Please, continue trying to tell me that I don't know the difference between real life and satire. You think reexamine needs a hyphen and want to lecture me on the subtleties of hyperbole and satire.

Ah, the typical retarded reply of a liberal. Funny how you insult others by pretending you are smarter than them, yet don't bother to check your facts. Re-examine can be spelled either way. From this site on correct use of punctuation:

As a typical liberal, I am sure you won't actually address the fact you've made a mistake and insulted someone based on your own ignorance.

As for you not being able to tell the difference between satire and real life, how is it you claim the satire is, and I quote, EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING? Is there another way to take your words to allow one to believe you DON'T believe it is, and I quote, EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING? If so, kindly explain how you didn't see the satire from the Onion article and real life as exactly the same.
