Romney's Plan Would Also Have 'Saved' Detroit

    According to a WSJ reporter, not only would Romney's plan for the failing auto manufacturers have saved them, but it would likely have worked better than the Union bailout that Obama did.

    Team Obama's version of the auto-industry rescue is a triumph of spin over facts.
    Romney's plan wasn't the "let them fail" that Obama claimed it was after the debate, instead it was the better method to save the manufacturers.

    (Please note that I posted this topic here because it isn't really a current event, and it directly pertains to a claim from the debates.)

    It's simple, really.

    Nobody in the private sector, including Bain Capital, had the money to bail out GM and/or Chrysler.

    NOBODY.

    Considering GM and Chrysler are doing quite well now I find your WSJ opinion not believable.
