Mitt Romney's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day in London

    LMAO!

This man, Mr. Romney, is capable of ruining the "special relationship" all on himself or something?

I can't get enough of this -- it a train crash!!!

An absolute joke. Our press (british) are tearing into him over this on all accounts.

If I was an American I'd be very worried about his diplomatic ability in light of these events.

The guy is out of his depth among vaguely intelligent life forms.

And, I can tell you, the Brits are vaguely intelligent.

Give it a rest Awryly. Romney is smarter than the sum of all New Zealanders.

    Go shear a sheep.

When the British run an Olympics as good as the SLC games, get back to us.

    It's odd.
I just got home from a night mission, and visited this thread.
Then I went to several web news resources.
    CNN
    ABC
    ATT
    Foxnews
    BBC

Only BBC had any mention at all of Romney's visit to London. And it was barely saucy, that particular tidbit.

    Anyway.
A lot of hysteria on this web forum (this and a few other threads) over some sort of faux pas on the part of Mr Romney, and for some reason it didn't make the news here in the US.
Even those news media folks who are big Obama fans (CNN, ABC, and ATT) weren't covering it.

Might not have been that big a deal.

How quickly you guys on the left forget about your man in the White House.

How many States has he visited again? Oh yea....57 with 1 more to go...LMAO

Oh and did we forget about this treasure from Obama?

Poland seeks stronger apology after Obama's 'death camps' remark

    http://articles.latimes.com/2012/may/30/news/la-pn-obama-poland-remarks-20120530

Criticizing the Olympics is in no way as bad as accusing a country of running death camps.

    Are you kidding?

You determine what's important by what they talk about in the MSM?

Ah ha ha ha ha! Ha!!!

"It wasn't in the MSM, so it couldn't have been important"?

Jeez - shall we begin a list of what else they haven't been talking about in the MSM?

We could begin with the fact that our economy is bleeding a billion dollars a day.

Next we could talk about how the banks are getting free taxpayer money by borrowing from the government at 0.8% and loaning it back at 2.8%, and the only limit on this scam is how much a bank can place on deposit, which explains why they're all racing to re-securitize everything.

And then we could talk about why we're having so much difficulty mopping up 50,000 rag-tag fighters in Afghanistan. With a trillion dollars and world's best equipped and best trained army. With drones and spy satellites. And they didn't even know OBL was living two blocks from the capital? Hm.

    Should we go on?

You judge a country's political intelligence based on how well they can host a sports event?

Jeeze, no wonder America is in trouble.

    No, you silly woman.
I do not determine what's important by what some pinheads on MSN are talking about. (As I recall, I mentioned that I checked the online news on CNN, ABC, ATT, Foxnews, and BBC.)

It just struck me as odd that there were no less than four shrill, bellowing, and crowing threads dedicated to Romney's vaguely insulting statements made in London on politicalforum.com, but that the gaffe didn't merit any coverage on the US web news resources.

In other words, a handful of left-leaning Obama supporters, desperate for some good news headed into the November election,
went ape(*)(*)(*)(*) crazy with joy over this story,
    but
the story itself was barely newsworthy.

NOW, and hang with me here,
I agree with you 100% that the realities of our train-wreck of an economy,
the complete and utter uselessness of our tax-and-spend federal government,
the crooked deals approved by that same government that allow banks to do the things they do,
    the quagmire in Afghanistan,
the fact that both Pakistan and Egypt have shown the US enormous disrespect over the past two years, but Hillary Clinton promised to send each of them an additional 1 Billion dollars in aid,
should be glaring, ALL CAPS, headline news.

It would appear that our news media web resources have become as useless as our federal government.

Israel has been disrespecting you for years. Even their awesome prime minister, Netanyahu, is on public record as stating what an easily manipulated pushover you are. Do I hear you complaining about the $3 billion (and counting) of taxpayer's cash you give him every year, just so he can insult America in his gratitude? 'But, but Israel is our ally' I hear you say. Yeah, right...

I can't wait until people start throwing shoes at Romney. The Brits already hate him, the people that he stole their jobs from hate him, and it won't be long till only the super wealthy like him.

    Bring on the shoes!

No, don't mistake hate for amusement. The Brits are amused by him. Which for an American hoping for the Presidency is much worse.
