I too noticed this. The mainstream media is hoping for a storm strong enough to cause enough damage to this red state that the response to it will be overwhelmed. They are hoping it will be bad enough to be a game changer in the upcoming election

Hey, have you heard about Puerto Rico? Yeah, the same Puerto Rico that the media was infatuated with after a storm hit when Trump was in office but suddenly the same media never heard of Puerto Rico now that Biden is in office. Did you know that Puerto Rico experienced a 100% blackout last week and the media didn’t even blink?

It’s an ELECTION year. EVERYTHING is politicized. Look at 2005, a non election year. The support for Wilma victims was nothing compared to even numbered year hurricanes.
