Ron DeSantis: This was appalling to hear
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says politicians like Charlie Crist and Kathy Hochul do believe conservatives are 'second-class citizens' on 'Unfiltered with Dan Bongino.'

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told "Unfiltered with Dan Bongino" he was appalled to hear Democratic lawmakers disparage Republican voters.

GOV. RON DESANTIS: I do think people like Hochul and Crist are representative of this leftist mindset that they do believe the conservative half of the country are effectively second-class citizens, so when she's telling all the Republicans to get on a bus and get out of New York…

    G
ov. De Santis was right about what he was reported here as saying last night. I saw and heard him say it with my own eyes and ears. The prior Governor of New York made similar comments as well. The real hate and bitterness in America is coming from the left.

Democrats might want to assume and wish that we are 2nd class citizens but we are not.

I may surprise you, but DeSantis is right.

18 of the 20 poorest states are red...and have been for over 50 years.

Conservatives are not only poorer, they are less educated.

If you add up all the output of the counties that voted for Biden, you get 70% of the country's GDP.

    70%.

So yes, DeSantis is right, Republicans are unfortunately second class citizens because they vote against their interests.

Lets see, a conservative govenor in an election year goes on a very conservative TV show and says his opponant is bad. That is really unusual so it must be true.

Yes, if a democrat makes comments to the mainstream media it’s news, if a Republican makes comments to the alternative news media it’s opinion, that is the standard here, especially if the conservatives comments making news are directed at comments democrats made the news with.

And yet in recent years those red states many of which spent long years as blue ones have been making nice gains since their change.

Not based on the comments he recently made, he’s not. A moderate would want conservatives to support them, not write them all off going all in on liberals cross support his campaign or choose a teachers Union President as his running mate to oppose parental rights in education.

If he has any gains, they are in line with the success of the Democrats, who have led this country for 12 of the last 16 years.

Federal subsidies to red states have increased steadily for 25 years.

And it's worth noting that most of these subsidies are paid by the blue states.

Of course, since they are richer.

…Crist and Hochul made their attacks last week while campaigning against Republican opponents in their gubernatorial races. Crist is challenging DeSantis, while Hochul is facing Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin of New York, who was nearly stabbed in July.

“If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there,” Crist said Wednesday, shortly after defeating Nikki Fried for the Democratic nomination for governor. “I want the vote of the people of Florida who care about our state, good Democrats, good Independents, good Republicans. Unify with this ticket. Unify with Val Demmings and Charlie Crist.”

Hochul criticized her Republican rivals at a campaign event Monday, arguing they aren’t “real New Yorkers” due to their political beliefs.

“Trump and Zeldin and Molinaro – just jump on a bus and head down to Florida where you belong,” Hochul said Monday, according to the New York Post. “OK? Get out of town. Because you don’t represent our values.”

President Joe Biden also attacked Republicans, claiming that they had embraced “semi-fascism” during a Thursday fundraising event for the Democratic National Committee.

he reported comments here as reported by the Daily Caller Newd foundation and their news reporter by Biden, Hochul, and Crist is are beneath contempt. The attacks on Republicans as 2nd class citizens is a new low on their part. It is the democrats and the left who are engaging in hate and hate speech here.

Meanwhile - Republicans treat other Republicans as second class citizens by calling them RINOs.
    Whatever.

Any one who supports EITHER party is crazy.

Agree, Charlie is way off here. Second class seems a little out of reach for the MAGA party....

I'm also still a little ticked with POTUS Joe for adding "semi" in front of fascist last week...

    Stop putzing around, guys....

While we are talking about Charlie Crist, I've seen him on TV 3 or 4 times since Tuesday. He actually looks a bit older than 66, but sounds way younger. Should be real easy to make an obvious contrast to his fascist opponent....

Wait, thats what you got out of those comments ?

You started thread because a politician said that their opponent had different values than the majority of the electorate in that state ?

that is literally boiler plate politics ! Seriously

And this coming from a Trump supporter…….

Well I happen to agree with the Democrat Kathy Hochul who encouraged New York's 5.4 million Republicans to leave. All of those conservatives moving to Florida would lock that state down for us and increase the electoral power of the Republican Party. It would crater the economy of New York and vastly increase their crime rate. With that vast loss of people, we could ship all of the illegal aliens in America to New York to pick up the slack. We could also ship them the homeless, felons and drug addicts. Seems like a fair trade for deplorable middle/working class taxpaying conservatives. Give them the maximum of what they want and give us the maximum of what we want. Everybody wins.

Sure, head to Florida - the Internet Crime center of the country. Republicans need to clean up the state of Florida first, then
maybe they can move to other states - unless, of course they are making money as internet thieves themselves.

    Chicago sucks - Democrats suck
Florida is a major crime center also. Republicans run Florida. Clean up your own toilet before you
    complain about others, Republicans.

You might be good people, if you stopped listening to Fox News 24/7 -- who are brainwashing you that the "other side" are bad people.

Back to the topic of the thread. When Charlie Crist was Governor of Florida, he was a Republican, just saying. I didn't like his policies at the time, but he was still 1000 times better than mini Trump and wannabe despot DeSantis.

I would think the despot is the candidate who wants 5.4 million people to move out of her state because she disagrees with their political views but who am I kidding. Anyway, Democrats and democratic voting supporters are resorting to these low crass attacks because they can't debate Republicans on the issues obviously.
