Well, here we are. The 2016 election season is about to kick into top gear as the first of the two major parties holds their National Convention.

This thread is a holding place for all things RNC 2016.

First thing of note is that the RNC Secretary Susie Hudson has apparently disappeared. Petitions need to be handed to her but she is nowhere to found and the Stop Trump is NOT happy about it since they were planning to submit a petition.

Dirty trick or did she just find a hole to nap in?

Take a shot every time somebody mentions "God" and "guns" in the same sentence.

Take a shot every time somebody mentions "what a strong conservative Mike Pence is"...but doesn't say it about Trump.

Take a shot every time somebody mentions Michelle Obama.

Take a shot every time somebody mentions "crony capitalism" before they nominate their crony capitalist Nominee.

The basic legal word is " if I hide they cannot give me the petition, and if they cannot give me the petition we cannot act on it, and if we can it act on it it just will not happen"

    Want to get REALLY hammered?

Watch Ted Cruz' speech. Take every time he says something negative about Hillary and subtract every time he says something positive about Trump. Take that many drinks.

    You'll probably run a 90-10 or 95-5% ratio.

Calgary Ted's speech will be the equivalent of Bill Clinton's 1988 Dem Convention speech.....he's springboard for a 2020 run after Trump loses.

Take a drink every time he redundantly posts a Trump can't win message - and die of alcohol poisoning.

Take a drink every time a Trump Cultist says "He'll win big"....but refuses to give ANY kind of ballpark figure on how "big" that win will be.

Also take 5 drinks after Trump gives his speech when a TC says it was the greatest speech in human history....even if Trump's teleprompter goes out and he sings "I'm A Little Teapot" while the techs are getting it back up and running.

    :)

Will her speech be translated into her native language of "Goldiggerisch"?

You still here? I suppose technically you didn't lose your bet that Jeb! would be the nominee or you'll quit the forum until Trump is the official nominee.
You should have a drink for each speaker who doesn't urge nominating Jeb!

Mocking Hilliary is too easy, like shooting fish in a barrel. She's given us enough negative material for a thousand elections. She's a dream opponent.

    I hope Ted skewers her.

Let's take it up a notch and go for cirrhosis of the liver:

Take a shot/swig a beer every time someone says Hillary Clinton is a liar/dishonest/can't be trusted

Yeah Einstein said "Repeating the same action over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity."

So it's logical that Republicans would keep harping on BENGHAZI!!!!!! which has failed time after time after time after time for them for nearly 4 years.

    :)

Here comes the last ditch effort of the "Dump Trump." The petition is being recognized now.

Doubt that it will go anywhere, but hey, it provides some entertainment. Probably more than Scott Baio ever would.

Now the GOPers are ignoring another petition.

Ken Cuccinelli (AG-Va) just tossed his pass down and is walking out.
