Rush Limbaugh has cancer

So was George Burns. .He lived to around a hundred . Most cigar smokers dont inhale . Mouth cancer is probably more common. Like those that dip snuff.

I never cared for rush's political views and he is responsible for the hyper division . He conditioned lots of people with poison.

But I wish him the best .. No one is getting out of this place alive anand its the pleasures of life like cigar smoking that gives pleasure to some.

My grandmother married this dude who had cancer of the throat, and they thought he'd only last 6 months. This badass lived 16 long years, married my grandmother and died peacefully in a hospital bed. The medicine and technology definitely improved, and this disease while awful, we can't let it rob the light of our hopes and dreams. That's the one thing that keeps us all strong. I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife, and at the same time I'm happy that you've recovered and have hope that Limbaugh can do the same.

 

He was a voice that had been absent from the media for decades.

You had no opposing viewpoints on the broadcast channels or on cable.

I have listened to him for 20 years and have seen leftists unable to cope with opposing viewpoints.

 

I grew up in the age where people smoked everywhere, ashtrays came standard in cars and my Dad was a heavy smoker. Yet all 12 of my siblings plus my mom never had cancer, or even asthma. Not advocating for smoking of any kind, but just a personal observation, that plus living with exhaust in big cities There's no reason to believe Second hand smoke is any worse than living with exhaust in big cities in my opinion.

 

Well if you're sure, you should patent that mind reading trick, you'd be rich!

Years ago I was at the local race track betting on horses. I had won several hundred dollars in the first six races and in the seventh bet all of my winnings on a horse named Rush is Right. Well the horse finished last and was loaded into an ambulance at the finish line. Several times over the years I have called Rush on open line Friday to tell him the story and hit him up for an iPhone. I could never get past the busy signal except one time when Mark Stein answered. Now, sad to say I probably will never get to make that phone call to Rush.

 

He was the first but there are many more RW voices today, as well as LW ones. The more free speech the better.

 

Rush Limbaugh has had more influence on American politics than any other person in my lifetime.
He set us free from network news.

 

No doubt, which is why the left is apoplectic about the internet, etc.

Rush helped bring conservatism into the mainstream, later on Breitbart took it to the internet and to the streets.

Without him we'd have a democrat or Jeb Bush in the White House.

 

Thoughts and prayers for Rush. i was already praying for Rush and God came through.

 

Limbaugh, and others like him, didn't cause the division, they just shined a spotlight on it. They lifted the rock and showed us the nasty bugs crawling around hiding underneath it. They showed us how intolerant the left can be, and how low they'll go when their viewpoints are challenged and found lacking.

The folks on the left who are behaving like spoiled entitled unpatriotic brats need to take responsibility for their own actions. It's not Limbaugh or Trump or any other conservative making them behave the way they are. They need to look to their own idols ---- from mainstream media political pundits and tv hosts, to Pelosi, Obama, "the squad", and the rest of their leaders ---- and they need to look in the mirror.

 

I will prayer for him and wish for a speedy recovery.The best
thing in this Country is a healthy Limbaugh willing to attest to
Conservatism and mock those who oppose.
I do have a slight problem with his saying as refrain that
" he doesn't like making his show about him." That is 100%
False.As provable as it gets.Every show uses clips from TV,Radio
and any source which utters his name.He plays it back on his show.
But that's a small sin { venial } compared to the greater good his
person generates for a better America.
Like almost all mortals,The guy has flaws and tendencies.
One does not tune into Rush Limbaugh to hear a Pope John Paul.
Not even close.Saints come bye very seldom in Life.
But he may be as Saintly as it gets on AM radio.

 

He was called the 'Majority Maker' when the GOP took over the House during Clinton's term.

 

I have listened to Rush since he was broadcasting out of California. I got lucky and got to speak to him on his show twice over all these years.

I wish him the best and hope he continues on for years to come.

Yup, he was red pilling before there was a term for it.

I was 18 or 19 when I started listening and at the time was an EMT, that meant being stuck on an ambulance for 12 hours a day. My EMT partner and I had an agreement that we'd listen to Howard Stern, and then Rush.

One thing we both saw clearly-was how often the "News" was bogus-and we knew this because we'd be at the incidents the news was covering (gang shootings, car crashes, fires, floods, etc) and later we'd see both the print media and broadcast news were often wrong about the events.

Rush does these "media montages" where you can see the same message, usually verbatim delivered from multiple news sources. They often spin coverage which obviously continues today.

I do charity work in northern mexico and one nice thing is you can always get Rush on AM radio down there.

 

nobody is irreplaceable

my guess is Alex Jones will begin to fill the spot that Rush leaves while in treatment

going through cancer treatment can only be described by someone that has went through it themselves

the treatment can be worse than the cancer itself .some make it to the other side , some don't

it is truly in the hands of a higher being who recovers and who does not

Modern medicine is a wonderful thing ..and I wish a swift recovery to Limgaugh

but does Rush live near a windmill??
