If fascist Russia didn’t send troops into Ukraine, there would be no need for evacuation.
Russians are committing a crime against humanity.
    Russia is a fascist state.
    Fascism is evil.
Reasoning and explaining Pootin is equivalent to reasoning and explaining evil.

Ukraine reported shooting down 2 more fighter jets next to Kyiv.
I’m waiting on the daily report from Ukrainian Air Force for final count, hope for more.

Russia is worse than a fascist state - it is a terrorist state, and it is led by a war criminal whose globe trotting days will soon be over.

What fascist state isn't ultimately a terrorist state? They need at least some degree of terrorism to suppress dissent. The rulers use police and military to terrorize their own citizens to keep themselves in power.

No one wants to go to Belarus or Russia.
Ukrainian rage spreads from Putin to Russian people

If there is one overriding emotion gripping Ukraine right now, it is hate — a deep, seething bitterness for President Vladimir Putin, his military and his government.

A statement that just shows a complete lack of understanding who leaves in Ukraine. There are millions that would happily move to Belarus or Russia right away. The Ukraine government does not let people leave via humanitarian corridors to Belarus or Russia because it will completely expose their false narrative about the united Ukraine. The western part, yes. The rest of it, no. Pro Russian Ukrainians in Kiev, Mariupol, Kharkiv etc..,are literally hostages.

And what prevents those people from going towards Russian troops? If they want Russian world - they are more then free to go to their liberators!
I guess, that’s why Russian fascists can’t take any cities - happy residents who were just bombed with hearts and smiles are waiting for those troops with bread and salt! I guess the fascists are putting on their parade uniforms and getting ready to come and meet the liberated urban crowd!

Funny, there was no such mass migration in the 3-4 years prior to the war. Ukrainians wanting leave for the West? Yes definitely, but North or East? No. And even west was made harder by the fact they had to compete with so many Belarusians and Russians competing for a visa with them.

The only way Russia will ever convince large scale migration to Russia from Ukraine (with the possible exception of ethic Russians and not even most of them) is at gun point.

I am not talking about the permanent migration. I am talking about humanitarian corridors that Russian forces proposed to open to get civilians out of Kharkiv, Mariupol, Kiev etc...The Ukrainian government rejected proposal simply because they use civilians as human shields. Especially in Kharkiv and Mariupol. They are not allowed to leave. In Kiev you have few hundred thousand people who would leave right away to Belarus. Not allowed.

Why would any national leader voluntary march tens of thousands of his fellow citizens into the arms of the nation that is attacking them where they will automatically become hostages/bargaining chips?

I have a really bad news for you. The city of Izium fell to the Russian forces. Izium was the linchpin of the entire Ukrainian disposition and the last city to create not just a free fire zone in the slowly shrinking bottleneck for the Ukrainian forces to escape, but also the city which was defended by the best Ukrainian forces (the 81st UAF brigade).

While you are posting nonsense Russians are slowly but surely completely encircling all Ukrainian forces in the east and the south. Do you understand what does it mean?

Let Ukrainians chose wherever they want to go. The Ukrainian government does not give those people stuck in Kiev, Kharkiv and Mariupol that choice.

Ukrainian President Zelensky seen in his office for first time since Russian invasion began

From CNN’s Tim Lister in Kyiv

    (Facebook/Volodymyr Zelensky)
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has posted a video of himself in his office in Kyiv Monday night, the first time he has been seen there since the invasion began on Feb. 24.

Looking out of the window before closing the curtain, Zelensky opened his video statement, saying:

“I’m staying in Kyiv. In my office. I’m not hiding. And I’m not afraid of anyone,” Zelensky said.
Apart from a brief outdoor appearance with members of his government soon after the invasion began, this is the first time he has been seen outside of his bunker since the Russian invasion began.

Not only using them as human shields, but they are all subject to being victims of a provocation by the Ukro-Nazis. They are desperate for anything that will get NATO militarily involved. Their thinking is that, if they can pull off something sufficiently horrific, that the cavalry will come and save their sorry asses from the inevitable. We saw that the other day with the hype over the fire at the nuclear plant, but it didn't work.

There is absolutely no low these cretins won't sink to.

Ukraine appears to be keeping up the pressure on Russian supply convoys with video coming in of drone strikes and and reports of ground raids on rear echelon convoys. Also reports of new and heavy Russian helicopter loses with Ukraine claiming to have destroyed 30 helicopters on the ground during a raid by their marines on a Russian air base on the southern front. There is also video purporting to show the crippling or sinking of a Russian stealth corvette of the Ukrainian coast by artillery fire.

In addition Russia's elite airborne units appear to have suffered heavy losses and their combat capability is now severely compromised due to earlier losses inflicted by Ukraine during unsupported assaults on key strategic targets behind Ukrainian lines at the start of the war.

The Slava class battlecruisers Moskva, Marshall Ustinov & Varyag along with most of their individual surface action fleets have been transferred to the Mediterranean from the Northern and Pacific fleets however these have been blocked from entering the Black sea by Turkey so they are stalled. Apart from Syria all ports in the region are currently closed to them which means they cannot refuel or resupply (and Syria can't support anywhere near that many vessels). If nothing changes they will be forced to leave and return to Russia.

No accurate estimate is available yet as to how how long it will take Russia to untangle the knots in its logistics issues. As of yesterday the best guess (from Russia's perspective) is a week to 10 days or so although it's possible they may have the resources in place launch a single offensive of their choice sooner they won't be able to initiate all their previous operations before then at the earliest. Assuming Putin is determined to continue the offensive however ultimately the weight of firepower is on their side.

One key issue however from NATOs perspective is that the West has for many years now been grossly overestimating the combat readiness and effectiveness of the Russian Army. They are seeing severe transport and logistics issues unravel before their eyes, major tactical missteps by senior commanders and serious lack of co-ordination between all branches of the service. NATO is learning a LOT.

UK Ministry of Defence says Russia continues targeting evacuation corridors in Ukraine

    From CNN’s Josh Campbell

The UK Ministry of Defence on Monday accused Russian forces of targeting evacuation corridors and killing “several civilians” trying to evacuate the town of Irpin, according to the latest intelligence assessment released publicly by the department since Russia’s invasion of its neighbor.

The ministry noted that due to heavy fighting, Irpin has been without heat, water or electricity for several days.

The intelligence assessment also reported that resistance against Russia advancements towards Kyiv has persisted in the nearby towns of Hostomel, Bucha, Vorzel and Irpin.

This is a disaster for the Russian Army, they are bogged down and under constant attack, with mounting loses. The longer this lasts the more confident the defenders get, especially with the supplies now getting to the front.
    They might lose this war.
