Just watched some excellent video on CNN. Russian tank column attempting to move toward Kyiv, but being serially incinerated by Ukrainian Javelins and forced to retreat. The Javelin is made by Raytheon, where I worked for about 18 months following my retirement from government service. That video footage made me quite proud.

Even if those estimates are a bit high I think it's safe to presume that Russian losses will surpass our own by the end of the first month of Putin's invasion (March 24).

As for the much ballyhooed column, I can't help but be reminded of the one that Edward Braddock got destroyed at the Battle of the Monongahela during the French & Indian War. A smaller French and Indian force attacked the front of the column and rolled it back into the main body behind them and in the ensuing chaos Braddock was killed and the Brits were routed. It's not going to take much - a few soldiers armed with Javelins - to halt that Russian column. Destroy the vehicles up front and they're going nowhere fast.

 

That is beyond amateurish. It's enough to make you wonder if the Russians were afraid to dismount their infantry...
