A Russian plant that was assembling railroad cars stopped because it cannot obtain foreign bearings. Some of those bearings were used for military vehicles.
As I predicted a couple of months ago, the lack of imported bearings will result in difficulties with assembling or repairing Russian military vehicles. This is the indirect sign that there is a serious problem in russia with these components. Russians will struggle to field functional military equipment soon.

Taiwan banned the export of processors with frequency above 25MHz to Russia and Belarus. They also banned export of equipment used to design and manufacture microprocessors.

Saudi Arabia will increase oil production if Russian production rate falls.
That’s pure loss for Russia - Saudis are planning to replace Russian oil. Russian production is going to decrease due to sanctions and inability to insure oil tankers carrying Russian oil.

    I think so.
Probably our journalist who is reporting from the Russian side [he's with Russians or with warriors coming from Chechnya who fight with Russians] would have avoided to make such rumors public.

But journalists are journalists, you know ...

Personally, after thinking a bit, more than to Ariete tanks, I would think to Centauro tank hunters.
Soviet T-72 cannot survive to Centauro tank hunters. No way.

Anyway ... the reports from that journalist allow Italians to know where Russian forces are [he moves with Russian forces].
And it's a matter of fact that Russians are slowly advancing facing a feral resistance.

About this, we should keep in mind history: Russians are not afraid of military casualties.
They keep on advance. Period. So, let's not think that we are stopping them. It's still early.

From Zelenskyy latest interview with Newsmax, question is are these numbers accurate or just for Western audience in a bid for more support? Would be almost 1,800 kia every month(30 days) along with 12,000 wia on the low side of his numbers.

80% of Russian military vehicles use Bosch parts, Bosch pulled out of Russia, no more parts. Same for the civilian vehicles, cars and trucks. Kaput means kaput

I think you owe dimon an apology. Technically he's correct, there are few places left in Ukraine that are pro-Russian....because Russia already controls 1/3 of the former lands of Ukraine and the locals consider themselves as being part of Russia now.

I'm asking how you've become so deluded. As for stalking, you're the one claiming to know my age  I don't know or care how old you are, though you act like some kind of indoctrinated teenager.

Yeah, continue with the ad Homs. That's all you do. You've NEVER got off your ass and traveled to that part of the world but nevertheless, you are here cheerleading for nazis in Ukraine. Some expert you are. I just laugh.

I've been there. I've told you that, too.

But like every other bit of truth you're told, you dismiss it as false while embracing a false narrative that you personally prefer. Why is that? What happened to make you like this?

But you do support Nazis and genocide. That's the point. So why do you do it? Why do you reject reality and embrace Nazis and genocide?

    This sounds familiar:

Soviet Perspective: Invasion of Poland 1939

"The expansion of the soviet family of nations and the USSR's measures to secure its borders"

Come on, @Bill Carson , don't run away again. You like to post absurd nonsense that is 180º opposite of the reality and then just run off. Why don't you ever discuss your views instead of just blasting them out and talking past everyone? Your behavior leads me to conclude that you've never discussed anything in your life and wouldn't know where to begin, that you were indoctrinated rather than educated, that you have never learned to think and reason and debate.

No need to engage with a 'Russia Expert' who has never set foot in Russia. It's quite damn pathetic actually. Western fake news MSM loves dupes....great for business.

You're on a forum, a place to discuss facts, events and opinions. You should try engaging with other posters for a change instead of resorting to ad hominem and waving away every fact that you find inconvenient.

This is good for shedding some light on the warped perspective of the Russians in the current conflict:

"Under such conditions, the Soviet Union had no other way out than to conclude a non-aggression pact with Germany. This pact [Molotov-Ribbentrop] prevented the formation of a united anti-Soviet front of the capitalist powers and secured peace for the Soviet Union for nearly two years, which it badly needed for the further building of socialism and the strengthening of its defensive power."

"All the actions of the Polish government on the eve of the second world war [sic] served to prepare for this adventure. In 1938 and 1939, when the political crisis in Europe was maturing, it participated in the aggression of fascist Germany against Czechoslovakia and planned to conquer Lithuania and the Soviet part of Ukraine."

"In mid-September 1939, a situation arose in Poland which forced the Soviet government to be particularly concerned about the safety of the Ukrainians and Belarusians residing there. The Polish rulers had abandoned them and the entire Polish people to their fate. On September 17, 1939, after the Polish government had fled to Romania and the Polish state had disintegrated, the USSR government instructed the Red Army High Command to let the Ukrainian and Belarusian Fronts advance to the western border of western Ukraine and western Belarus in order to take the lives and property of the local population under their protection."

"When the liberation operation of the Red Army began, the German troops had already reached the Western Bug and the San. In places they had already crossed the rivers, it was not certain whether they would stop the advance."

"The troops, as well as the civilians, especially the civil servants, together with the Polish landowners and colonists, had in a short time literally carried away all of the property and a large part of the food of the Ukrainian and Belarusian peasants. Their protests were cruelly suppressed. Many peasants fled to the USSR to save themselves from the persecutions of the Polish gendarmes and colonists."

"It was a real liberation campaign; its aim was to liberate the population of western Ukraine and western Belarus and to prevent the fascists from advancing further east."

Modern Russian beliefs are largely based on Soviet-era bullshit such as what you see here, where the Polish government was vilified along with the fascists in Germany and they never called the Soviet invasion of Poland an invasion at all. It's frightening similar to how they talk about the situation in Ukraine today. Once again it's not an invasion, indeed not even a war. No, it's just another "liberation operation."

I have serious doubts that he lives in the U.S.:
No basic knowledge of U.S. taxation.
Demonstrated lack of knowledge of how U.S. stock market works, despite his claims of investments. Anyone who traded even for just a few months knows what happens during corporate actions and what happens to stock if it gets delisted.
Posted a screenshot of an American article that was flagged by Google as translated from Russian language a while ago.
Fairly extensive knowledge of the history of Eastern Europe, despite the lack of some basic knowledge mentioned above (US taxation). There is nothing wrong with this knowledge, but the combination of known and unknown is very odd and not something you can generally see in an American - at most an immigrant.
Zero criticism for Pootin or Russia.
Complete ignorance of Russian realities when it comes to free speech.

Interesting observations. He also seems to be devoid of any desire to reason.

His English is mighty good, though. I suppose a fella like him could make the big bucks doing online trolling.

The price of poker has been raised again. The Predator is a big step up.
US Plans to Provide Armed Drones to Ukraine. Reuters is reporting that the US is planning to sell Ukraine four MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones in the near future. The deal which could be scuttled by Congress is still under review by the Biden administration according to people familiar with the situation. The Gray Eagle is the Army’s version of the Predator drone, and can be equipped with Hellfire missiles. If approved, the drones would represent a major advance in Ukraine’s battlefield ability.
