Compared to Biden, Putin is a regular guy that is merely defending his nation from a man with dementia.

Biden is dead in 2 years or less. Putin? Putins a **** head that's gonna be leading the **** direction of Russia towards eastern isolation.

Russia in case you are confused...is not a destination. Nobody "flocks" to Russia. Nobody wants to live in Russia.

Russia, is a shithole, reserved for Russians who don't know any better.

Well, that's aspirational, isn't it? Since the "shared values" stops at Belarus you might as well tear that piece of paper up.

The countries between Western Europe and Russia were given the freedom to choose their developmental models. They have almost unanimously looked to the West. Nobody forced them to.

Also, while I never lived in Russia I lived in East Berlin when it was under Russian control. Let me tell you you almost everybody we talked to welcomed integration and hated the regime. Apart from the stazi informants who had it good with corruption and smuggling in Western goods and the elderly who liked the security of the same brand of Liverwurst every day.

That's because western Europe is an exclusive club for white folk designed to exploit non white nations so naturally any weak minded white outliers would gravitate.

Putin is a modern man who celebrates diversity. You should try it, the "good ole days" are gone thank God.

The republicans win again. Putin wins if the goal is to isolate yourself from the western world. What a dream!

Integration with the West has provided many opportunities for the Eastern neighbours. It's not a perfect system, however prosperity and freedom has increased. Your characterisation of Eastern European peoples as so weak-minded that they can't choose between two starkly contrasting societal models is bizarre and, frankly, racist. Take a good look in the mirror.

Kremlin Cronies Say Putin Is Ready to Go Full Kim Jong Un

    Julia Davis
    Fri, June 10, 2022 at 9:47 AM

Russian President Vladimir Putin paid tribute to Tsar Peter the Great on the 350th anniversary of his birth on Thursday, claiming that modern Russia is once again on a historic quest “to return and fortify” its lost lands. Erasing any doubt about the true motivation of his invasion of neighboring Ukraine, Putin told an audience of technology students in Moscow that the lot of re-conquering Russia’s former territories fell to their generation. They blithely smiled throughout the speech, without a hint of a reaction to the imperial ambitions of their leader which have abruptly re-shaped their future.

The speed with which the talking heads swung behind Putin’s latest narrative shattered the thin veneer of supposed independence on Russian state television, laying bare the fact that the Kremlin’s propagandists on top rated shows are not there to share their own opinions. The same pundits who meekly asserted for months that the “special military operation” was never about occupying any of the Ukrainian territories have changed their tune in the blink of an eye. Brushing aside the unconvincing legend of the mythical Nazis in charge of Ukraine’s government, as well as complaints about “NATO enlargement,” state TV experts embraced the idea of shamelessly taking another nations’ land—just because they want to.

After playing clips of Putin’s latest comments, Vladimir Solovyov, the host of state TV program The Evening With Vladimir Solovyov, jumped in head first: “Putin is talking about fortification and enlargement, because returning [territories] means enlargement. What we lost before we now must return. This is a totally different formulation of our goal. Life is getting to be interesting.”

    ... https://news.yahoo.com/kremlin-cronies-putin-ready-full-144710945.html

This is Putin declaring war on NATO, specifically on Eastern Europe. This century's fascist dictator and self-styled emperor has left no doubt about this.

If that were the case then it would be evident in the racial make up of the nation he controls. Could you please tell me what the race make up of Russia is?

    lol.

Wow! I would like to know specifically what he means by lost lands - if he's talking about Russian speaking components or what was the Soviet Bloc. Nevertheless, that kind of delusion is a terrifying prospect.

I regard the possibility as so remote as to be nothing but a boogeyman tale with which to scare children. The foundation of NATO is not to flinch in the face of Russian threats.

Anything can happen when you get a mad man who feels he's backed into a corner. But that's not the discussion. The discussion is to the severity even 1 nuclear bomb would have. Which you feel sensitive about and need to downplay the reality because it's fear mongering for Russia.

LOL. That's your own sensitivity on display.

You also are aware that both China and Russia are chomping at the bit to exploit Africa now ya? LOL. Good grief who would have guessed that you have no clue about what's going on currently in world affairs.

I spent my career in the intelligence and national security business. I need no instruction on the power of nuclear weapons. I also see no value in "atomic porn" fantasizing. We will do what we must, and the chips will fall where they may.

We do if we are talking about the consequences of nuclear war, then those bringing it up should speak intelligently on the subject. Respecting the gravity of such a disaster. I've had to respond to idiot posters who thought that today's Nuclear bombs are like the Atom bombs in that there is no radiative fallout or consequence. "Hiroshima recovered just fine" was an actual response I've gotten.

If you don't want to be in that conversation, that's fine. Don't respond. But if you do, then speak intelligently on it. You don't need to spare anyone's emotions by lying or downplaying.

The U.S. and the U.K. did agree to help Ukraine and they made some promise to do so. Ukraine has done their best to fight off Russia and have done a great job of but they will be running out of their own artillery and then Russia will press on and move forward to take over Ukraine and destroy their democracy and the liberties that go along with it. This is something that Ukraine doesn't want to see having Putin take over and following the strict rules of the Kremlin. If help fails for Ukraine, Russia and Putin will take Ukraine and merge into the New Soviet Union and Putin will join the ranks of those such as Josef Stalin.

US taxpayers need a refund. So much 'intelligence' the collapse of the Soviet Union was a complete shock to the so-called intelligence agencies.

Not really. I knew as early as 1980 that the USSR was in trouble. The wife of a Red Army Lt.Col. at the Soviet military mission in the country where I was posted quietly visited our house to purchase my wife's used clothing at our pre-departure sale.

Western artillery already making difference for Ukraine -regional governor

    Wed, June 8, 2022 at 3:16 PM

MYKOLAIV, Ukraine (Reuters) - Western-supplied artillery systems are already making a difference on the ground for Ukraine and it is "just a question of time" before its forces win back significant ground in the south, the governor of the Mykolaiv region said on Wednesday.

Governor Vitaliy Kim, whose region is partially occupied by Russia but remains just one of two that retains significant access to the Black Sea, told Reuters that Ukrainian forces had "some success" in recent weeks in a counterattack in the neighbouring Kherson region.

Asked when Western weapons would start to make a difference on the ground against Russian forces that invaded the country on Feb. 24, he said: "It is already happening ... and we will have (more) success."

    ... https://news.yahoo.com/western-artillery-already-making-difference-201620995.html

The US and Europe have much superior military hardware than what Russia is fielding, especially since they've started sending in old T-62s

We need only keep supplying Ukraine with this better equipment and they will win eventually.

We’re almost out of ammunition and relying on western arms, says Ukraine

Ukraine’s deputy head of military intelligence has said Ukraine is losing against Russia on the frontlines and is now reliant almost solely on weapons from the west to keep Russia at bay.

“This is an artillery war now,” said Vadym Skibitsky, deputy head of Ukraine’s military intelligence. The frontlines were now where the future would be decided, he told the Guardian, “and we are losing in terms of artillery”.

“Everything now depends on what [the west] gives us,” said Skibitsky. “Ukraine has one artillery piece to 10 to 15 Russian artillery pieces. Our western partners have given us about 10% of what they have.”

And I can ask you why are you so hateful towards Russia, and why do you hate Vladimir Putin when you don't even know him? Is it because he's an Orthodox Christian or is it because you sympathize with the Russian criminals who were financed by foreign banks and who refused to pay their taxes? Or could it be because Putin instead of robbing Russia, restored it and gave it back to the Russian people and that was not to your liking?

Instead, you preferred the criminals who were sending their money to off shore accounts in London, Zurich and Tel Aviv while the Russians were going hungry. Khordorkovsky even had the mayor of a town murdered for trying to collect taxes from Yukos the largest oil firm in Russia.

Are these the type of people you support? Is that why you hate Vladimir Putin?
