In the first two years of the Trump presidency, there was an oversaturation of the now-debunked Russian collusion hoax. Many Americans--albeit stupid Americans, the same type of Americans who probably voted for Joe Biden and now regret their decision, being, I'm sure, genuinely surprised that he turned out to be a corrupt ****-up, because they voted stupidly and ignorantly, and will happily do it again--thought that Donald Trump was Putin's puppet, a sort of Manchurian Candidate; this is in spite of the fact that Trump was harder on Russia than "any [US president] in the post-Cold War era." Contrast this with the 2014 annexation of Crimea under Obama's watch. In fact, according to the so-called Obama Doctrine, "Ukraine is a core Russian interest but not an American one, so Russia will always be able to maintain escalatory dominance there."

Now it seems that Russia may finish where it started in 2014 with the complete annexation of Ukraine. If Russia does acquire Ukraine, that will be the second Democrat presidential administration in a row during which Russia has increased its territory. It would seem, therefore, that Trump-Russia collusion was arguably pure projection, especially considering the Russians of the 2016 Clinton campaign, including Igor Danchenko, who was the "primary source of the Steele dossier." I mean, after all, there was Russian collusion between Russia and the US president--but it was not with Trump.

Ukraine is a NATO problem. I suggest if they take Ukraine, we take Cuba or Venezuela. Putin wants his “Putin Doctrine” (buffer states). So we may as well go back to our old “Monroe Doctrine”.

That will not happen. If history is any indication, Russia will probably annex a part of Ukraine, if not the entire country, like what occurred during the Obama administrations, when former vice president Joe Biden was the vice president. Joe Biden is not going to take over Cuba nor Venezuala, especially not as territories, especially considering that they are mostly nonwhite countries, and leftist, which have taken over the Democrat Party, would refer to it as colonialism and racist. He may like to take them over as states, because the people of those countries would probably vote Democrat, considering that they are ****hole countries. Yes, Cuban-Americans and Venezualan-Americans mostly vote Republican, but the majority of the people in those countries electorally support their current condition.

Maybe it's time to call up Hillary and send her to Russia again to apologize and reset our relations with her little red button.

Anyone who doesn't know that Putin much preferred Hillary to the Donald has no common logic or understanding, though is easily impressed by bullhorns.

Russia's territory expanded under the Obama administration, of which Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden was a part. Why would Russia want a change of policy and want Trump elected, instead of Hillary, especially after Trump, again, turned out to be hardest on Russia than and post-Cold War president? The whole thing did not make any sense. The fact that a lot of the American public believed it is quite disturbing.

Nothing new here. Our geopolitical adversaries are emboldened by Democrats who as a rule are weak.

Russia’s foreign minister has reportedly suggested to President Vladimir Putin that Moscow use diplomacy to obtain concessions from the West, after U.S. officials warned a Russian attack on Ukraine could happen “any day now.”

Reuters reported on Monday that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had said to Putin that the Kremlin should seek a diplomatic route toward procuring the security guarantees it has demanded, as tensions mount over its military activity at the Ukrainian border.

Lavrov........why is that name familiar? Ah yes.

That picture comes to us courtesy of a Russian photographer since Americans weren't allowed in the room when Don told Sergei he was relieved the pressure was off from the Russia investigation after firing Comey.

Is Russia taking advantage of democrats by taking over land while they are in power or are democrats making up a Russian threat as an excuse to start a war?

    It can't be both.

It's pathetic that some Americans are so dug into their irrelevant political bunkers that they would praise Putin if it allows them to bash their political opponents.

So I argue that if Russia annexes part or all of Ukraine, it will have been under another Democrat administration within the last decade, the first being Biden, and your weak-ass response to that is a picture of Trump with some Russian?

    Really?

    That's it?

The fact remains: Trump has been tougher on Russia than any post-Cold War president, and, unlike Obama and perhaps Biden, Russia did not enlarge their territory under the Trump administration. If, and that's a big IF, Putin wanted Trump to win the presidency in 2016, he was sorely mistaken, and he surely did not want him to win it again in 2020. Logically, he would have wanted Biden to be president. Why wouldn't he? Trump was tougher than Obama, and Biden and Clinton were both a part of the Obama administration. He would surely want the people in the presidency who were a part of the administration during which he annexed Crimea. Geopolitically, it does not make any sense whatsoever to want Trump, an unknown variable in 2016 and a known, impeding variable in 2020.

Very good point. Yes, I am sure the Russians did not want this fool to be president, right.

The icing on the cake was Clinton misspelling the Russian word for reset and so gave the Russian minister an "overcharge" button.

Indeed, and overcharge in more than one sense. During the Obama administration and now during the Biden administration, the Russians were overcharged in their commitment to rebuild the Soviet empire: during the Obama administration, they tested the waters by annexing Crimea; and now, with the weak-ass, incompetent Biden administration, they are hell-bent on finishing what they started and annexing the whole damn country of Ukraine. Democrats also overcharged the threat of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, in an attempt to justify the sham special counsel investigation. Logically speaking, geopolitically, it does not make sense that Putin would want Trump to be president, especially considering that Russia is in the process of taking over Ukraine, which did NOT happen under Trump.

Right. Russians wanted a weak president so they could overtake Ukraine, so why did they interfere in our elections to get Trump in office?

Democrats seem to not understand Putin's motivations which couldn't have been made more clear. Or what would drive him into invading Ukraine. They push buttons and boundaries and limits and then get confused at reactions that were warned many times over.

This was ABSOLUTELY avoidable. But the democrats are ****ing stupid at foreign relations with countries that do no like us I guess.

Right, it does not make sense that they would interfere in our elections to get Trump in office. It would not make sense the first time around, considering that Trump was an unknown variable, and it would not make sense the second time around, considering that Trump was hardest on Russia than any post-Cold War president, especially considering that the two people whom he ran against were a part of the Obama administration during which Crimea was annexed. But the media convinced a lot of stupid Americans to accept and agree with the illogicality of Trump-Russia collusion.

So they worked to elect a wild card vs. a known establishment politician in Hilary. Okay.

Exactly, they didn't work to elect a wild card, as opposed to two people (Biden and Clinton) who worked for the same administration that allowed Crime to be annexed. The Trump-Russia collusion narrative was meant to convince stupid Americans to believe that the Russians worked to elect Trump.

It's a fact that Russia interfered in the election to get Trump in power. Did they hack the DNC to help hilary?

If you are Putin, do you elect the wild card or the known softy.

Trump was harder on Russia because the left and Democrats hounded him for being Pootin’s buddy (which he was not) for 5 years.

The Russians also organized anti-Trump rallies. If you look at the whole picture, as opposed to the one cherry-picked by Democrats, they were sowing discord in the electorate, but, logically and geopolitically speaking, they would rather have Biden and Clinton, who were both a part of the Obama administration, during which Russia expanded its territory. Right now, Russia is in the process of taking over Ukraine. That is a fact. In less than a decade, Russia is in the process of expanding its territory under a Democrat administration. That's another fact.

At best these days, Biden hopes not to soil his depends in public while the cameras are on. He is useless, and frankly, given his policy, he should have known better that every time oil prices have seriously spike, russian military adventures seem to "happen". Obama just didn't seem to care during his presidency, and now that Biden is back in the oval, he doesn't seem to care either, except that perhaps sending Russia US arms aid would have been more obvious than driving up oil prices.

Democrats do love them some dictators these days. I bet if anyone in the US started a real movement to annex Cuba, or wail on Venezuela that the BLM ANTIFA riots would like like summer camp compared to the outrage and violence of the left should that come to pass.
