I wonder, does the average Russian peasant even know what Moody's is? Do Russians even care that some American financial institution which is run by a bunch of Jews is lowering their "credit rating" at a time that they are a war with the West?

    There's also this:

As long as their country never has to buy, borrow, or sell with another another country? No. Just like the average person wouldn't care about his credit history, if he could be entirely self sufficient.

Well, at least you recognize that it is Russia who is waging war against the Ukraine.

By other country you mean America where S&P Moody's and Fitch are located?

Russia's trade with America is almost non-existent.

"Together, the four original BRIC countries comprise more than 2.8 billion people or 40 percent of the world’s population, cover more than a quarter of the world’s land area over three continents, and account for more than 25 percent of global GDP."

If Russia was at war with Ukraine obviously there would be a Russia flag flying over Kievs Capital building. Have you been fooled by the Ministry of Truth?
"Ukraine's "Ministry of Truth" is hiring Internet trolls (and spies?)

Ukrainian Ministry of Truth is Hiring Bots. A SmallInvestigation.

    By Geoboris

    Translated from Russian by J.Hawk

The Ukrainian Ministry of Truth [officially the Ministry of Information Policy] debuted a new resource: http://i-army.org/. There you can join the team of bots who will then proceed to troll the internet with their “objective” and “free” opinions.

What exactly is this resource? Most importantly, who established it?

After examining the html code, it becomes clear that the whole point of the site is to create a database of email addresses in order to distribute messages using the getresponse.com service. We can even see how many people have signed up. [A little over 13 thousand as of Monday evening].

The project is hosted on the US CloudFlare hosting service. It seems that all the functions of the resource are using that hosting service. The site uses Yandex Metrika statistics as well as Google Analytics. And here we catch our hero:

My first mission (should I accept it) is to recruit as many of my friends as possible into Ukraine's "Information Troops". Further instructions will follow shortly! I can hardly wait...

Credit Ratings are an incredibly weak method of even economic warfare. Russian economic relations with Latin America, India, Middle East or China are not really affected in any way

The EU is on the verge of bankrupcy and will not cut economic ties with Russia either.

And if they merged into one country, U.S. and China might consider that country significant.

That hypothetical country containing 40% of the worlds population while producing only 25% of the global GDP would either have a less than average standard of living or a standard of living dependent on trade with more productive economies. It would have an interest in maintaining a good credit history.

You don't cut off relations with people who have bad credit, you change your terms.

They are called US creditors. There are 4 original and SA has been added. There are 17 countries applying for membership and have joined APEC and ditched washingtons mystery TPP agreement.
They arent called "emerging" for nothing.

They're called emerging economies, because they haven't emerged yet. It's good to hear some are trying to catch up. I hope many of them succeed.

"An emerging market is a country that has some characteristics of a developed market, but does not meet standards to be a developed market.[1] This includes countries that may be developed markets in the future or were in the past."
