In the lastest backlash against Russia, the US and other member countries voted to kick Russia from the G8.

Hopefully now every news station can stop talking about that (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) plane and focus on the growing tensions between Russia and the west

    From your article, Russia's response:

"G8 is an informal organization that does not give out any membership cards and, by its definition, cannot remove anyone," he said during a news conference. " All the economic and financial questions are decided in G20, and G8 has the purpose of existence as the forum of dialogue between the leading Western countries and Russia.
"If our Western partners believe that this organizational format has outlived, so be it. At least, we are not attached to this format and we don't see a great misfortune if it will not gather. Maybe, for a year or two, it will be an experiment for us to see how we live without it."

What we don't know are the details of why the other idiots joined with the Boy King in his crusade of stupidity...

I almost agree on the plane thing, except now China is blaming the deaths on the Malaysian government, which could ratchet up tensions. Although for the moment only rhetorically...

Putin is smooth. He knows we don't have leverage against him. He could care less what we think, or about the worthless G8 club.

I would agree, the gesture seems hollow and petty. Although Russia does make a point when it comes to Kosovo. What I don't get is how quickly the liberals abandoned their Wilsonian views to back the Boy King, are they really that gaga over this guy?

If somebody told me I couldn't hang out with the likes of Canada, FRANCE, Italy, and the UK ...I'd be ...pretty ...bummed out.

    ...except no, not at all.
