Well the truth finally leaks out of zelensky's cesspool of lies. As I have said here before, a peace deal was in place until Boris Johnson effed it up at the request of President Mail Ballot.

Now after hundreds of thousands of dead ukies....what will the bunker runt do now? Seems as though his days are numbered. The people (the few left) may rise up and handle this problem in house, so to speak.

    https://www.kyivpost.com/post/24645

"David Arahamiya, leader of the President's “Servant of the People” party and head of the Ukrainian delegation during last year’s talks with Russia, has revealed that Russia proposed ending the war in spring 2022 on the condition that Ukraine abandon its NATO aspirations and adopt a neutral stance.

“They really hoped almost to the last that they would put the squeeze on us to sign such an agreement so that we would take neutrality. It was the biggest thing for them,” Arahamiya said in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Natalia Moseychuk."

All the ukies had to do was remain neutral. The nazis must be running the show after all.

They can't (or shouldn't) trade NATO membership for peace. To do so would mean they are willing to trade their foreign policy in exchange for "peace"

Sure, just like Czechoslovakia after being forced to give the Sudetenland to the Nazis. Nazis came back soon to take the rest.

Any kind of "peace" signed by the Botox chimp isn't worth the paper or ink it's written with.

    Sorry Bill....this one doesn't fly.

Funny...the RuZZkis come up with a bogus "peace plan" 2 months into the war.....only realizing how bigly they phucked up.

Yes, things have worked out so much better for Ukraine than if they had simply settled for peace.

    Worth remembering:

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares about more than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the existing of better men than himself.”

As if this weren't entirely Russia's fault.

A former senior State Department official, hard-line right-wing war hawk Eliot A. Cohen, boasted in an article in The Atlantic magazine that the “United States and its NATO allies are engaged in a proxy war with Russia.”

He effused proudly, “They are supplying thousands of munitions and hopefully doing much else—sharing intelligence, for example—with the intent of killing Russian soldiers,” adding, “the more and faster the better.”

The State Department veteran declared that the “stream of arms going into Ukraine needs to be a flood.”

This is exactly what NATO member states are doing: flooding Russia’s neighbor with weapons.

Instead of supporting peace talks with Russia, the United States and European Union have been actively escalating the war, sending Ukraine billions of dollars worth of weapons, including tens of thousands of anti-tank missiles, thousands of anti-aircraft missiles, and hundreds of kamikaze drones, as well as tanks and armored vehicles.

Why are Russians so down with trying to make the biggest country on earth even bigger and raping their way to doing it?

We flooded Nazi Germany's and Imperial Japan's enemies with weapons and other forms of aid in WWII as well. No regrets.

So what are the specifics of the 'peace deal' Bill? What did the maps look like? What territory was Russia offering to withdraw from - be specific now.

And while you are at it, maybe discuss the impact of the Bucha Massacre on the so-called 'peace deal'. If Russia wanted peace why was it slaughtering Russian civilians? Why should Ukraine trust the word of Russia after the massacre in Bucha was uncovered?

....oh....I remember now....you claimed that was a 'false flag'

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...e-mod-warning.597298/page-352#post-1073384087

We should probably take that into account when reading any claims you make on Ukraine and a 'peace deal' with so few specifics and that the Ukranians themselves didn't trust..

Did the offer include Russia withdrawing from Ukraine? I didn't think so.

Yes of course, all Putin wants is for Ukraine to remain neutral ..
    Vladimir Putin's false war claims

.. and having failed to provide sufficient evidence that:
    1) Ukraine is nazified..
    2) Ukraine is perpetrating a genocide..
.. Putin is going with "Ukraine must remain neutral" as a condition for stopping the war.

    Yeah Right!

For years before they invaded, Russia made it clear they would support the Donbas.

All the US could do was its standard modus operandi--overthrow legitimately elected governments.

I think this would have been a good deal.

Russia returns the Crimea and leaves all the other territory it has invaded.
The Ukraine promises not to join NATO and re-occupies all of it's territory.
The Ukraine joins NATO anyway and now Russia can go pound sand.

It's Russia's fault that they invaded, but why would we jump in to extend some other foreign war? It's simply crazy.
