"David Arahamiya, leader of the President's “Servant of the People” party and head of the Ukrainian delegation during last year’s talks with Russia, has revealed that Russia proposed ending the war in spring 2022 on the condition that Ukraine abandon its NATO aspirations and adopt a neutral stance.

They can't (or shouldn't) trade NATO membership for peace. To do so would mean they are willing to trade their foreign policy in exchange for "peace"

So what are the specifics of the 'peace deal' Bill? What did the maps look like? What territory was Russia offering to withdraw from - be specific now.

And while you are at it, maybe discuss the impact of the Bucha Massacre on the so-called 'peace deal'. If Russia wanted peace why was it slaughtering Russian civilians? Why should Ukraine trust the word of Russia after the massacre in Bucha was uncovered?

We should probably take that into account when reading any claims you make on Ukraine and a 'peace deal' with so few specifics and that the Ukranians themselves didn't trust..

I think this would have been a good deal.

Russia returns the Crimea and leaves all the other territory it has invaded.
The Ukraine promises not to join NATO and re-occupies all of it's territory.
The Ukraine joins NATO anyway and now Russia can go pound sand.

 

Just like the Nazis and Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland.

It's Russia's fault that they invaded, but why would we jump in to extend some other foreign war? It's simply crazy.
