Fascism - a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race.

Do you know that there are 123 languages spoken in the Russian Federation, and many of the languages are taught in school? Do you also know that there are 7 predominantly Muslim Republics in the Russian Federation, and 1 predominantly Buddhist one?

Do you also know that Crimea and the Donbas Republics rebelled against the junta in Kiev because of their fascist laws?.

Your point is? Those earlier numbers are by Syrian govt forces who were supplied by the Russians to do this damage.
Russia has been directly involved since Oct 2015, almost 3 yrs!?!

Strange how they were all killed outside of Russia? I guess by the same reasoning, everyone killed in Russia has to be by the CIA or MI6.

Then again there might be some truth to it, since the fire in Kemerovo does resemble the one set in the Trade building in Odessa that killed 200 pro Russian protesters - including children. Could be the same animals.

    Wrong!
Fascism /ˈfæʃɪzəm/ is a form of radical authoritariannationalism,[1][2] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and control of industry and commerce,[3] which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.[4]

    Yep - Putin’s Russia.

There "were" jiji... There used to be... It's been years since Russia has invaded those places. I'm sure they know better than 16th century Europe and have already gotten rid of the bodies by now... Little green men couldn't have made it there with stinking dead bodies...

I don't think he's a westerner at all... He has terribly weak arguments, is very ignorant, uneducated and Putinist. Tremendously uncool...

Well, unless she's an imposter, she was posting at Pravda years and years ago already, and not too differently from how she does now. Either way, she's very dedicated to spreading misinformation, so I can understand why people would think she's just another Russian troll.

Nobody cares about Iran now as long as they be nice and comply with the nuke deal. As for Russia; their aggression is because they are in dire need of getting back to 1949, controlling half of the Europe, having access to Mediterranean, keeping the influence at its heaviest to counterbalance the rule based order once again. They are using populist crap and opportunist ultra-nationalist cliques for that.

They must regain access to those regions they have been active at because they fear they won't be able to avoid the second collapse unless they keep the west as far out from their actual borders as possible... Iran and China following similar strategies as well... It's the technological advantage the west holds that scares them all and makes feel threatened...

I’ve known a few Russians in the US who were like that. They immigrate and fail to learn the language, therefore making themselves eternal immigrants. They only watch Russian television and hang out with other Russians. The shows they watch is the reason why they are so stupefied - endless conspiracy theories, crimes and Russian movies and soap opera, content of which obvious praises Russia and shows everyone with connection to outside world as a corrupt criminal. And, obviously, Russian news.

Some Turks and Chinese do the same... And a Russian spy was arrested among many others and later got swapped with Skrippal was too refusing integration when it all came down to their efforts of integrating well. I think the whole ring got busted because he was incapable of speaking the language without heavy accent and yet telling people asking where he was from that he was born and raised in America... Lol

Coming from the manner in which I judge (past and present events), I find it reasonable for Vladimirovich and the other Russian Ministers to want to keep the Occident as far away from them as possible. After all, throughout Russia's history, they have faced relentless impositions, attacks and tactical maneuvers from said Occidental powers. As to Iran and China, both have similar experiences from the main current Occidental powers, namely England and the United States. I recall the Opium Wars, Mohammed Mosaddegh, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (the Shah). With Russia, let us not forget who financed and controlled The Bolsheviks.

Like me, I do not forget SH*T and am slow to forgive; this is what happens after repeated injuries and the common refrain of "Get over it." It is easy for aggressors to use such language, as long as they are the ones inflicting the damage. By the way: NO, I AM NOT REFERRING TO SLAVERY AND JIM CROW, I am referring to the mannerisms and behaviors of people that I have had the misfortune of encountering in my life.

See, your response is one of the things that I was referring to in my recent reply to goody. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ASKED FOR THE DATA AND I SUPPLIED IT.

I looked it using your link, but I am still not convinced. First of all the definition is too general, and according to it, for example, Cuba could be called a fascist state. Another thing, one has at least to prove that Putin is a dictator, that the opposition is supressed, and that the commerce and industry is fully controlled by the goverment. One may argue about opposition, but by no means Putin is a dictator and not all industry is controlled by the government.

Government in Russia controls almost all major banks, railroads, airlines, energy, and i event read recently that Russian government took control over major grocery store. So, yeah, you can say Russia controls many, if not all, industries.
Cuba is a communist state, it has its own ism. Russia is pretty much getting back to USSR state without ideology, but with strong nationalism, as is demonstrated be the presence of Russian trolls on any message board.
Russia is a fascist state. That’s the reality of today. Kind of ironic, considering that many Russians don’t realize that. Russia propaganda does its job by associating fascism with Nazis. Russia is close to that label too - plenty of hate towards non-Slavs. All you need is the government starting to act on that hate and persecute minorities and you will earn yourself a title of a Nazi state.

State-capitalism is supposed to be a transitional period for past closed economies. China has to do it for a period of time as its large rural agricultural population has to be adapted to corporatism of open economy free trade system but when Russia, a country having already been through all the adaptations in Gorbachev-Yeltsin era, takes it back that road, I can tell it is for "protectionist" measures. You can dislike Russia but you never disrespect to its "mind of state". They are smart enough to calculate what their actions cost them in the future: "Heavy economic sanctions coupled with financial/economic attacks from all possible directions". They are doing what they are supposed to do before the west swings. Is that fascism? Theoretically yes... But keep in mind that Russia is the one who has been forced to adapt western ways, not the other way round. They are sort of new at all this while the west -America in particular- has been built upon those values. So it's normal that they have much stronger economies which need little government control to protect against outside attacks.

Fascism and Communism are basically the same thing.
