    Yes. Marginal elements always on the surface of popular unrest. I know it's not by hearsay. But this in no way determines that popular anger is right or wrong. The crowd is controlled not by marginal elements. And you know it too. Oligarchs are very educated and nice-looking guys.

    Not sure. But it is much better than oligarchs government in the 90s: Berezovsky, Gusinsky, Khodorkovsky. Russia also was on her knees as Ukraine today. Civil war, separatism - everything was as in Ukraine today.

    Who are they?

    There's no single answer. I'm sure there's mercenaries, native protestors who do want political reform, foreigners and all sorts..Maybe even Russian agents, who knows.

    A better question to ask is, what evidence is there that any of them are agents being controlled by Moscow?

    Once people start making specific claims, the questions must be pointed at them.

    "Autocratic, highly centralized regimes dominated by the military." I will not argue. Simple compare the military budget of RF and US. In absolute terms or as a percentage of state budget.

    In any case it's better than a country torn apart by internal contradictions. Better than country, which own oligarchs torn to pieces.

    Puppeteers from US think, that Ukraine should become a model country for Russia. As Argentina to Brazil, as Japan to China, as Pakistan to India. So called pair country with ideal government and high economic level thanks to American aid. I think you do not need to translate, which means "American aid."

    It's clear. Events in Donetsk controlled by oligarch Akhmetov. There is enough circumstantial evidence. For example, he acts as an intermediary in all negotiations with the separatists. Remember role of Berezovsky in the first Chechen war in Russia.
