What Trump does not understand or care to comprehend it that if the west does nothing to help Ukraine Russia will take that as a free go ahead to try and put not only the USSR back together but even try to neutralize as many former Warsaw Pact countries. What you are ignoring is the fact the the major bulk of our involvement in Afghanistan came about under Trump’s watch. Where Biden was at fault was was not severely slowing down or stopping our withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden was not in office very long when the exit from Afghanistan occurred. Trump did not stop the delivery oh Javlins to Ukraine and for that I have to give him an attaboy. I forgot what the approximate date was when the blockage of sending Javlins to the Ukrainians started. Where you in favor or opposed to Javlins being sent to Ukraine.

The cease fire “deal “ with the Taliban was signed in Feb of 2020. Biden should have stopped the withdrawal which Trump started when the Taliban reneged.
Trump and a good portion of the US public and even
Oligical office holders from both parties wanted out. Trump promised to withdraw.

I really doubt that Putin would be stupid enough to attack a NATO country. He could never win such a conflict The outcome wouldn't be good for him. Ukraine is not NATO. Its difficult to identify what essential value Ukraine has to the national security of the United States. Ukraine belonged to the old Soviet Union and it gave them no significant advantage. Remember when we were told that if South Vietnam fell then there would be a "Domino Effect" and we'd be fighting in California? Your analysis seems very similar.
The bulk of our involvement in Afghan was under Trump's watch? Sorry... that's absurd. We invaded Afghanistan in 2001 and left under Biden, about 20 years. Trump was only President for FOUR years... your math is off.
Trump approved sending Javelins to Ukraine in 2017. I'm a big fan of Javelin and love to see our friends get them. There's nothing else in the world like them. A real game changer.

Trump ended the agreement before he left office when the Taliban failed to enact the agreed upon ceasefire with the Afghani government. Biden was in office for six months before his cowardly skedaddle. Its all on him.
