A Russian military research base has been identified as the source of the nerve agent used at Salisbury in a British intelligence briefing for its allies, The Times has learnt.

It was used to persuade world leaders that Moscow was behind the poisoning and said that the novichok chemical was manufactured at the Shikhany facility in southwest Russia.

The briefing led to the expulsion of more than 150 Russian diplomats from 28 countries. Perhaps you're conflating the possibility that it was the hospital employee you mention was one of those who was the first responder to the Skripal's in the park.

I believe that there is a certain algorithm in such cases as the case of Skripal, Litvinenko etc.

1. After a crime in the UK, the British officials make high-flown statements accusing the Russian government.

2. The Western media inform people about a huge amount of details connected with this crime.

3. The Western governments expel Russian diplomats, the Russian government expels Western diplomats.

4. But then many years pass but Scotland Yard does not bring any official accusation against anybody and does not bring this case to trial although namely Scotland Yard is the only body which has the right to make official accusations.


Let us consider the work of this algorithm in case of Litvinenko (it will be certainly the same one in case of Skripal).
