It doesn't concern me because I'm the only individual on planet Earth who doesn't have a mobile phone! lol But this reminded me of a new phone that was launched a couple of years ago, where the batteries kept exploding, or bursting into flames (I can't remember which). To come to the point - how can a tech manufacturer spend (presumably) 2 or 3 years on R&D without any such incidents, and yet when they go into the marketplace, these things start happening. It just seems so bizarre? https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/04/22/samsung_delays_fold_smartphone/
those 'testers' removed the special coating that protected the screens when closed & hid the seem when opened... prolly 'roughhoused' it as well... nearly impossible to idiot proof that type of phone
