Did you not read what I wrote? How was she SUPPOSED to know that that restaurant was going to discriminate against her based on politics? She didn't go in there saying that she was Sarah Sanders. They couldn't just let her and her family eat? What kind of mean, nasty, rotten people do that to a person? The restaurant got what they deserved. I hope they cleaned up the joint because it looked gross inside and out and run by a gross woman.

I understand the pain exhibited by this post, really I do but reality is still on you to deal with. Sarah did not need that meal, they did her a favour.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was told to leave a Lexington, Va., restaurant Friday night, she said on Twitter Saturday morning. Sanders said the owner of the Red Hen in the Shenandoah Valley asked her to leave because she works for President Trump.

"Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so," Sanders tweeted Saturday morning. '

Now that the Red Hen Hysteria has been consigned to the national Fizzlefest Flusher in the tradition of Birtherism!, Spygate! and various and sundry Bowling Green Massacres, one restaurant owner's declining to serve one celebrity mouthpiece of the current administration has returned to the realm of insignificant incidents in an implicit tribute to sensibility, rationality, and proportionality.

No death threats were acted upon, no establishments destroyed by liars yelping, no reported sexual molestations of russet poultry.

One ponders what zany confection the masters of trumpery will next contrive to wee wee up the vulnerable.

As the Chicken Sh¡t Brigade struts off in a frenzy, I anticipate that it will be another doozie.

When Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her party entered the Red Hen, several of the employees approached the owner saying they were uncomfortable serving Sanders due to the administration’s stance on gays, immigrants and other minorities. The owner gathered the employees together and had them take a vote and you know the result. The owner pulled Sanders aside and told her that she was not comfortable serving her and she comped the appetizers and drinks.

Sanders and later Trump used their official email accounts to berate the restaurant, an ethical violation to use public email for personal use.

Since Sanders and Trump chose to broadcast the incident, the restaurant has had to close for a time since protesters arrived from out of town, some bearing Confederate battle flags and anti-gay posters reading “Let God Burn Them.” One man was arrested for dumping chicken dung in front of the restaurant,” according to the Christian Science Monitor.

The owner and employees have received death threats. The restaurant had to close for a time. Red Hens across the country not affiliated with the one in Lexington have received threats including death threats. Stores along the street of the Red Hen have received threats.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders was fortunate enough to travel with President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump to Windsor on Friday to meet the Queen of England.
She was served tea by the Queen and her staff.
