This is why I believe Islamic law is not compatible with the western world. I believe in the death penalty but not method. Practicing Wahhabi methods and mindset bends very little. Women asking permission to drive is considered progress?

My understanding is that Saudi crucifixion (of the corpse of the executed) is applied due to aggravating factors in a crime that requires execution, the example provided in one of my sources was the rape of a child which was then killed along with her father.

 

It is no secret how barbaric those islamic cultures are over there in the middle east. Right out of the 7th or 8th century. Anachronisms.

Homosexuality is not a death penalty crime in Arabia unless it is combined with murder, rape or pedophelia.

Crucifixion is a rather cruel and unusual punishment similar to drawing and quartering which is precisely what the U.S. Constitution forbids.

The Constitution promises a speedy trial and also by the same token a speedy execution.

These Arabs see things differently. They are a different culture.

Of course Islamic "law" is inconsistent with the West. The West and the Arabs are two completely different cultures.

I'd love to see some Muslims crucified as punishment for their abominations and crimes against Christians.

Speedy trials are not what often happens in reality and a speedy execution is unheard of since frontier days. It can take over 30 years to carry out a death sentence.

 

His crimes were particularly egregious.. In Arabia they are far more victim conscious than into protecting the rights of the accused.
