Another reason the U.S establishment bends over to Saudis is the economic. They've been taking it up their backsides for decades.

Although I distrust my government because of its lies in just about everything, I do accept the official story about 911 for one reason, what was the gain by the Saudis or by Washington.?

There was no reason for us to go to war with Afghanistan, and risk throwing us and the world into a depression with the catastrophic losses of what happened at the WTC...nor did the Saudis have anything to gain. The country was in a recession inherited from Bill Clinton, and had George Bush not acted quickly we would have been in real trouble. As for Iraq, the intent was to topple Saddam. It was planned for years. A minor false flag would have done it.

What I don't know is who gained financially from the WTC and who lost financially. I believe the German and Japanese insurance companies were the biggest losers, but I might be mistaken. If the conspiracy thinkers want to find blame, then that's the trail they should be following. They should check up on the companies that went bankrupt, and find out if they were sold before the destruction of WTC. Also who was buying and selling shares that the collapse of the buildings might have benefited.

 

I suppose we flew our plane into the pentagon also. Give me a break. We should cut all ties with Saudi Arabia no matter what the economic cost is. They can cut oil to $10 a barrel and we would suffer some pain for awhile but we can outlast them. They are not happy with the price now. They are starting to feel the strain.

 

The Saudis had nothing to do with 9-11, but the terrorists sure wanted the attack to have a Saudi face and set off the exact sort of stupidity you advocate.

How would you know the inside workings of the Saudi government? I doubt that the Saudi people even know that. There were Saudis responsible for 9/11, certainly, but there is no evidence either way of any Saudi government involvement.

There should certainly be more criticism of Saudi Arabia and perhaps the next US President will have the courage to begin the process.

The Sunni faith taught in Saudi Arabia and the madrassas is much more radical than the Shia faith. Not that Iran hasn't spread terror against us and around the world. The United States needs to get out of the middle east al together and let the Sunni and Shia go at it until they both are eradicated. If we need to take a stand in the middle east, and only if invited, then it should be with Israel, Egypt, Jordan and maybe Lebanon. I don't believe anything else is worth fighting and dying for.

Not only did Al Qaeda receive most of its financial backing from Wahhabi Saudi donors, most of the 911 attackers were Saudi and the ones what were not Saudi were advocates of Saudi Wahhabism.

 

You want to blame 1.5 billion Muslims for what the bottom 10% do? By that logic any time a Christian does something regurdless of nationality all white people are to blame. That's dumb.

Where to start? The sheer stupidity of some content on this thread is simply astonishing. It’s almost unbelievable that some people try to equate Christianity with White people these days. Beyond belief. Christians come in all colours and shades. There is probably far more non-White Christians in the world than ever before. South America, Africa, China etc…etc…As a matter of fact White Christians are no longer the majority in the USA.
