Since when is a person who is skeptical labeled a "denier". As if to equate them with a holocaust denier?

I won't call you names because I hate those on both side a whim do so, simply because other don't agree with them. Denying global warming is a horribly stupid thing to do as it had proven many many times over that the world does in fact pleat and cool.

Now, I think the main concern here is "do humans create or accelerate global warming type effects."

Nobody who is sincerely skeptical is called a denier, at least by me. I do use the word with those who deny scientific evidence for political reasons. It is meant as a descriptive term and not a pejorative one.

People who are truly skeptical would be more skeptical of news sources and more skeptical of blogs than of peer-reviewed science. I've never met a denier who fits that description, but if I ever do, I would call that person a skeptic and not a denier.

    Fair enough?
