I already told you Frank....you not one of the best. Thats why you thought people weren't being calm and that people were trying to stop these mopes from Protesting.

Which isn't even close to the truth.

When can you start being truthful Frank?

Actually I kind of feel sorry for him because he's so stupid.

Articulate...lol now I know you're grasping at straws.

If this is your definition of articulate then I understand why you support Cankles

This "black" man grew up with more advantages than 99% of white people on the planet. He is as white as the driven snow.

Which of course explains why he's doing this, he is trying to prove his "blackness".

Black people hate nothing more than they do a "black" man with "white" background and proclivities.

I do not watch videos presented in threads.

I've heard him speak and explain his intentions. I think he is articulate and reasonable.

    If you don't...fine with me.

Sounds to me as though you have racial bias problems.

    Deal with them.

Don't worry Frank.....I am sure if the issue came up a few months from now. You would have approached the matter differently.

Title of the link made the point, huh?

Of course, Marshal of the Bronco already lost an endorsement over the matter. Now a town is canceling an event with the Seahawks over what they are talking about doing. But are undecided about what they will do.

In a free/ish country you should not have to stand during the National Anthem. While people are free to be offended, people do not have the authority to make others do as they please. I am continually surprised that in a country said to be founded upon the idea of freedom is populated by so many who want to rob others of their freedom.

Think about those two sentences...and think about time and how it works.

But maybe you are going for the laughs.

    Hey...if you are...you are succeeding.

Sounds like you have problems challenging your own racial bias beliefs.

I watched the attached video with an open mind, despite my initial reaction to his decision to see if there was any well thought out basis for his protest.

    There is not.

Cops are not killing black people in disproportionate numbers, and those that are getting shot are those putting officers lives in danger.

If anything, its the cops who are being targeted by extremists and criminals who happen to be black.

He is free to boycott the national anthem.

I hope he understands as the nation boycotts him.

These guys are all drama queens. And, notice that these folks are all followers. They're unable to just go to work and be professional about it. Always have to do something stupid to get attention.

    Really. Why is that?

Good for you. I decided years ago that I would not watch videos in threads. If a person wants to make an argument...I am here to respond. If someone wants to embed videos...I will not bother with them.

If you have a problem with that...tough.

Whether there is or not makes no difference. If he thinks there are valid reasons...he is free to protest...just as you are free to think him an idiot for doing so.

Subject for another thread. My family is filled with cops. I have lots of respect for them.

Subject for another thread. My family has lots of cops in it. I respect cops, but that is not what is being discussed here.

    He is indeed.

If you think you speak for the nation...fine. But that is more disturbing than Kaepernick's protest.

    - - - Updated - - -

So...exercising one's right to protest is doing "something stupid" to you.

Figure out what actually being American is about...then maybe Kaepernick's protest will make sense.

Well if they thought their way to approach their issue and it was so very important to them. Then they would get out on their own.....when off the playing field. Speak out about that (*)(*)(*)(*). Hold events over issue. Talk about and show all that passion and those touchy feelies.

They need to Quit using an entertainment format for their personal issue. Other than the Media. Then quit using their personal belief as an excuse for what they are doing.

Good for you. I'm sure it helps in avoiding being knowledgeable. It looks like you incorporate ignoring parts of the textual argument as well.

Sure he is. He shouldn't be able to be paid to protest though. While he's on the field he's at work. What would happen to anyone else who used company time to protest things at work?

I think he's an idiot because his own words, which you refuse to watch, prove it.

If you knew what you were talking about, or why he was doing it, you would realize this is what he's protesting.

I'd say the subject of his protest would be pretty relevant.

I'm sure the cops you know appreciate his wearing socks with pigs in cop uniforms.

No I just watch what other people are doing. He is free to act like a moron.

Like I said I understand why a man who grew up with every advantage, as the son of white people who gave him every opportunity, might need to prove how black he is.

He's getting good publicity which he's going to need as a substandard QB.

I find him using his job to protest the anthem uninformed and unintelligent, and so does much of the country.

I know exactly what it's about. I've spent my life in service to my country.

I didn't live a live of luxury like this guy, who is just another privileged 1%.

I've said, over and over again, that I have no problem with Keaperdick's "right to protest." But I DO disagree with where, and how, he's doing it. In my view, he should be a professional, go to work and do what he's paid to do. That DOES NOT include acting like a snivelling, whining, drama queen. If he wants to protest, let him do it "off the job."

Maybe YOU should "figure out what actually being American is about." Those of us who think kaeperidick - and those who emulate him - are ignorant, ungrateful, snivelling, a@@holes, have a right to express our opinions, too. Yes, this whining crock of sh!t is SO oppressed. Give us a break.

    Here are the two sentences:

They show your ability to be coherent...and time consistent.

The fact that you are unwilling to acknowledge the mistake...says lots about your lack of ethics.

Grow up. When you get as much time in these forums as I have, you probably will no longer watch them either.

He, like any American, has a right to protest.

If you do not realize that...you do not understand the concept of the Constitution.

    I'm sure they hate it.

    So what.

Kaepernick still has the right to protest...and to wear whatever kind of socks he wants to wear.

    Try to grasp the concept.

And much of the country feels as I do...that he has a right to protest.

    So????

    No you haven't.

Try not to let your envy and jealousy rule you.

Kaepernick has the right to protest what he wants to protest...and, within legal boundaries, where he wants to protest.

He has a right to protest what he is protesting...and he has a right to do it the way he is doing it.

If it is upsetting you and others...he is being successful. That is why he is doing it.

It's no biggie. Just sad that the country has so many whiners (pronounced rioters, thiefs, and "protestors), right now. They get more freebies than ever and still they cry and whine. Yes, that behavior is irritating. The truth is, the whiners may be showing that they will NEVER be a good fit for this country. They seem to totally lack traits of self-reliance, a work ethic, etc. They seem only to be good a complaining and whining. Eventually people will wise up, and quit giving them ever more free stuff.

The NFL whiners are no big deal. I chose not to watch any of today's games, and will probably do the same for the forseeable future. If enough other people choose to do the same, it could become a concern to team owners. And, they may then ask the whiners to grow up and "act" like the professionals they're supposed to be - and to engage in their whiny protests on their own time. And, it will be an 'act' - these guys are mostly just overgrown children who happen to play games that include a ball, extremely well.

Grown ups actually look at all the evidence. If you did that you might not embarrass yourself by saying protesting the police is a topic for another thread.

All americans have the right to make political protests at work?

This is another one of those cases where you might want more facts.

Since I've sworn to uphold and defend it 6 times now, I'm sure I know much more about it than you.

    Me too

Basis for the whole argument maybe.

Not at work as an NFL representative.

Im obviously doing better than you.

    Not at work.

    My DD214 disagrees with you.

You've mistaken envy for pity with a dash of disgust.

    The players are young.

I hope that is not considered inappropriate.

This thread is about Seahaws players expanding the protest.

If you want to discuss socks...you ought really to start a different thread. If you cannot see that as appropriate...perhaps this discussion stuff is too advanced for you.

Kaepernick HAS THE RIGHT NOT TO STAND during the playing of the anthem.

If you think he doesn't...it is you who needs "more facts."

You obviously do not know more about it than I.

The NFL says he does. Who are you to overrule them?

    Not even close!

    His employer says he does.

Who are you to suggest otherwise?

    No...your DD214 does not.

    I doubt that.

There is no mistake Frank.....Treating dumb(*)(*)(*)(*)s like they deserve to be treated. Is all part of that reality. Moreover.....these mopes aren't the brightest bulbs in the bunch and never have been.
