Season's Greetings?

    Just got a card with the words, "Season's Greetings". Now what exactly does this mean? I think this is just another excuse to take Christ out of Christmas. It's simply Christmas, not a SEASON...Season of what exactly?

    It's the Christmas Season. The period during which we celebrate the runup to Christmas, the holiday and a few days afterwards.

    hmmm. Where does it say that it's the christmas season JB? it just says Seasons Greetings. Could be any season of the year...Summer Season, Fall Season, etc.
