http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/26/inside-the-new-york-fed_n_5888132.html Aside from the crickets, I'm hearing deafening silence from our statist friends on PF.com who have been so rabidly opposed to Ron Paul's insistence that we fully Audit the Fed.
The Audit the Fed bill passed yet again in the House lets see if the Obstruction king Reid will allow the Senate to hear it.
I am absolutely... not shocked. Luckily we will continue to vote for the same bought and sold ********s who will do nothing about this.

I am surprised at the lack of responses this thread has gotten. Looks like political forum has been completely overtaken by neo-cons and liberals
This is perhaps the Adminstration's greatest failure. While I had very little doubt that Wall Street would get bailed out, I expected real financial reform. Instead, Wall Street got a "get out of jail" free card, and few of its most egregious practices have been adressed much less reformed. Meanwhile armies of lawyers are whittling away at the Dodd Frank bill in a years long series of regulatory actions and lawsuits. As we have already seen, Wall Street is back into the sub prime lending racket. I know you would never hear from conservatives on this. They were the enablers, after all. And financial issues are too complex and nuanced, and far less entertaining than Sarah Palin's latest antics. Too bad that most of the rest of us acquiesce with our silence.
Perhaps, but a disgruntled former employee whose lawsuit for wrongful termination was tossed out of court releases hours of tape and the most damning thing is the lack of a more proactive conflicts system at GS is not exactly the scandal that grabs people. Kind of boring in comparison to some of these banks getting away with flagrant warehousing schemes to drive up the cost of metals and the like with impunity.
As with any plutocracy, money talks, and BS walks. This is what 40 years of cronyism will do to a society. Most of the people with money don't even see the problem with this form of preferential treatment. They just want some of the benefits of it.
