Sen. Rubio Wants Commie West Point Officer Drummed Out of Army

A United States senator is demanding answers from the Army after an Army officer posted pictures of himself on social media promoting pro-communist messages and expressing an intention to infiltrate the U.S. military.

Senator Marco Rubio, (R-Fl) called on the Army to "immediately nullify" 2nd Lt. Spenser Rapone’s commission and recommended that West Point revoke his degree.


The photos, recently posted on Twitter, showed the then-cadet posing with a Che Guevara t-shirt under his uniform and "Communism will win" written on his cap at his graduation from the academy in May of 2016. In one of the tweets, Rapone, who currently serves in the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, included the hashtag #VeteransForKaepernick to show support for former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick. He has also expressed support for Chelsea Manning -- formerly Army private Bradley Manning -- who violated the Espionage Act by leaking classified military documents to WikiLeaks.

Making matters worse, Rapone also posted a picture of an antifa flag in his room, called Defense Sec. James Mattis "a vile, evil f*ck," tweeted that he’d “happily” dance on GOP Sen. John McCain’s grave, and stated that Vice President Mike Pence "is a f*cking medieval, cold-blooded killer.”

In his letter to acting Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, Rubio wrote: "As you may know, Rapone has publicly and vulgarly derided the secretary of defense, advocated for communism while in uniform and political violence in general, and expressed support and sympathy for enemies of the United States, including Chelsea Manning, a convicted traitor. This clearly violates multiple Army regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Communists are the enemy of the Free World and America. There is more than enough evidence that Lt. Rapone is not worthy to wear our uniform. When found guilty, he should be brought before his unit, stripped of his rank, and drummed out of the base and out of the Army.

I have to agree with Senator Rubio on this one. The graduation ceremony is no place for that kind of attire. I don't care about the rest of it (the comments he made - that's free speech and all that) but wearing that shirt under his military uniform is not acceptable. He was in our military academy and his tuition was being paid for by the taxpayers, and he went there under the premise of protecting this country, which he clearly doesn't not want to do.

Don't they have some sort of rules around what you can wear while in your military uniform and/or at a military ceremony like graduation from West Point?

 

What does Trump have to do with this?

 

Outside of the fact that Trump is the Commander-in-Chief and it is happening on Trump's watch?

My boss's daughter attends West Point and she told him this guy will get kicked out and have to reimburse the government $422,000 for his education. She said they're looking into who else knew about this guy because if anyone else knew and didn't say anything they're getting tossed, too. When I was in the Army as a regular enlisted soldier, I recall a guy being hammered by an instructor for wearing white tube socks with red stripes.

Lt. Rapone has too much evidence of Marxist sedation and disrespect for his superiors to be tolerated. His career in our military is done. I suggest Trump trade him with Castro for some of their political prisoners.

Castro might take you in. You would really respect Cuba, I am sure of it. You like 1950's cars, right? And I hear each person gets two oz. of meat per week, and a couple eggs. Veggies are really healthy though.

The people who voice a like for communism, especially if from the prosperous west, can be cured of this dysfunction quickly, or so I hear. It just takes a couple days of living there for the cure to occur. All rumor of course for I never wanted to test it.
