She's been confirmed. A great day for our SCOTUS.

    What do you think?

sad. Whether or not she was qualified and the best candidate was never the topic. Many other candidates were not even considered if they were not female and black

this was racism at its worst. Democrats basically told her that she was chosen due to sex and skin color. She could not have made it any other way

    Imagine being told that..............

She may well be the most activist judge ever seated on the court. Time will tell. And for the time being, she will have the honor of being third, or is it fourth? Anyway, I'm sure she's used to that. I still cannot believe that you'd even consider being the affirmative action judge. Democrats used to at least attempt to be folks interested in merit. It is interesting that the party elite think optics matter more than character and merit. We shall see how she does. I hope folks on the court take the time to teach her about the law she now has a lifetime appointment to.

History has been made. The first African-American woman has been confirmed to the US Supreme Court.
I got the news today, April 7, 2022 @ 1:55 pm. She was confirmed by a 53-47 vote. Senators Collins, Murkowski, and Romney were the Republicans who voted for her.
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson---that sounds beautiful. :)

She was more qualified than Trump's 3 SC picks. So, I believe she could have still made it.

I think it's great, because now I can openly express my desire to only hire LEGAL! smart and hard working White Men to do any work for me without any repercussion from the left that I'm hiring solely based Race and Sex, since the Democrats have set a precedence with her nomination and confirmation.

Character and merit you say? Was that what you were looking for when you choose Trump to be your Republican candidate for Prez?

As if that hasn't been happening already anyhow! Do you think Black people really believe hiring practices are fair and equal? :roflol::roflol::roflol:

I must have missed y’all’s outrage when your traitor said he was going to pick a woman justice.

Strange set of double standards, most people do try and at least conceal them a tad but here y’all are in full display.

Come on mid-terms. Hoping and praying for a GOP controlled Senate. No more of these left wing extremists on the Supreme Court.

Both Biden and Clinton have more character and merit than Trump.
At least Hillary didn't start an insurrection just because she lost the election.

Only if it’s a job where systemic racism kept whites out historically. Sound fair?

Look at your op you're praising her race and sex, not her merits.

Almost like they don't matter. Just as long as she's the right race in the right sex.

I believe they don't really "get" that ANY minority has well exceeded any and all expectations to even get promoted. However, that doesn't change the fact that the claims are (1) systemic racism doesn't exist, and (2) **anyone** other than a white male doesn't have their spot for any reason other than Affirmative Action. I don't really understand why they don't understand the second premise proves the first.

There have been many Blacks on the SCOTUS.... the problem is those that proceeded her could actually define a "woman" and were not whacked in the head. We would have had a Black woman on the SCOTUS long ago if it were not for racist Democrats like Joe Biden.

    Is she a "woman"?
