Serbian police BELGRADE, January 28 (RIA Novosti) Serbia Seeks Russias Help in Organ Trafficking Inquiry Russias help in Serbia's investigation into illegal trafficking in human organs in Kosovo will be very useful, Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic said. In January 2012 it became known that two Russian nationals were among the victims of illegal donor transplantations that were carried out in the 'Medicus' clinic in Pristina. Russias Kommersant daily said on Monday Russia has been conducting its own investigation into the case and already gathered some important data. "I believe, Russias participation in the investigation may be very useful, because of its Security Council member status. I expect Russia to assist us in the investigation, because those cases are related, the Serbian official told the B92 channel. Serbias Tanjug agency reported on Monday that a cooperation agreement has been signed with Russia which involves exchange of information. So far, illegal organ trafficking investigations are grouped into two major cases - the first concerns Ethnic Albanian Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), named in a report by Council of Europe Rapporteur Dick Marty as a possible perpetrator of organ trafficking-related war crimes. The report says that organs were taken from prisoners killed by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the 1999 war against Serb forces. The case is being investigated by a special working group within the framework of European Unions EULEX mission, led by U.S. diplomat John Clint Williamson. Serbia, however, wants this case to be investigated under the UN aegis and seeks Security Councils supervision of the probe. Another investigation concerns the Medicus, a private clinic in Pristina that made headlines in 2008 after some of its employees were arrested on suspicion of an illegal transplantation of a kidney from a 23 year-old Turkish donor to a 70 year-old Israeli national. Some time later, more cases came into spotlight. The donors were lured in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Azerbaijan by promise of a 20,000-euro payment in exchange for their organs, but as a result they found themselves without both their organs and money. Vukcevic said there is a link between the two cases. 28/01/2012 http://en.rian.ru/russia/20120128/170998454.html
Organ Probe Prosecutor to Visit Albania The US prosecutor heading the investigation into allegations of Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA, organ trafficking will visit Tirana on November 10. 09 Nov 11 John Clint Williamson, who leads the seven member Special Investigative Task Force of the EU mission, EULEX, will meet with Albanian officials in an attempt to establish a good working relationship for the probe. Dick Marty, the human rights rapporteur at the Council of Europe, released a report in December 2010 linking former KLA fighters, including Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, to organised crime and accused them of harvesting the organs of Serb prisoners and others in Albania. Both Kosovo and Albanian authorities have denied the allegations and have agreed to participate in the international investigation into the claims. Brussels-based Williamson met in October with government officials in Kosovo and Serbia. http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/organ-probe-prosecutor-to-visit-albania
I have no doubt that my country will make positive help to Serbia in this issue . And I'm not surprised why so far the UN do not care about this problem of trade Human Organs from Kosovo .
you have to wait like 20 years or so, until USA leaves this region. then China was a good friend with Albania ..., and my guess "illeriens" will try to switch Usa to China in the role a new lord-protector
Your country always helped Serbia and will still help but the problem is that they can't do anything cus KLA never did anything like this!
However ,Dick Marty do not agree with you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Marty http://www.balkaninsight.com/en/article/albania-eulex-eye-agreement-on-organ-harvesting-probe
