The Delta variant of Covid is spreading rapidly across China causing shipping delays in their major export ports due to labor shortages. It is driving up shipping costs and will probably result in shortages of many things manufactured in China both here and around the world.
Not good news for Americas retailers as they are now beginning to get their Christmas inventories fulfilled. And of course it will result in higher prices for anything that does reach our shores. Proving once again the old adage, " Never put all your goods in one basket."
