Tend to think VR with a few modifications will end up better than robots. The current VR porn is awful from what I've seen, but they're working on it. Internet porn is already warping human sexuality. Computer generated sex, from a robot or from a VR set, is likely to warp it even more. The outcome may be an even more rapidly shrinking first world population in the near future.
Imaginary women are already more attractive than real ones to many men. When artificial ones are a realistic enough compromise I am sure many will take it. Its a very creepy aspect to the futurist vision.
