If it is available, children will get access to it.

In my 59 years on the planet, I have never experienced a situation where MJ was not "readily available". The only difference is, if its illegal, people are forced to buy it from the same guy who sells fentanyl and meth, and the money ultimately goes to murderous mexican drug cartels.

An overarching concept for you to consider: This country was not founded to keep people safe, it was founded to keep them free. Authoritarianism, such as that you are condoning, has no place here.

I agree. The moral of the story is that this US of A is very much NOT the land of the free and home of the brave. Julian Assange is receiving far more punishment from the US Government than Maria, for the act of exposing government crimes.

It makes sense. Pot is against the Federal laws, and she violated Federal laws, so that disqualified her form becoming citizen. Stupid of her to admit she was a pot dealer.

It helps some people with anxiety, and increases it in others.

Legal pot activists in Florida have gathered over a million signatures to get legalization on the ballot, which is enough to qualify, and yet its in the hands of the FL Supreme Court, which has struck it time several times in past elections based on technicalities.

The most important function of our government is to keep our citizens safe. That is why the major part of our budgets go to first responders, law enforcement and the military

My guns are locked up and unavailable to children. Do you keep your mj and alcohol locked up?

I don't keep my guns for some make believe pleasure. I keep them to defend my family.

The function of the FL Supreme Court and others is to protect the status quo, in this case the status quo is prohibition. Can you imagine how empty the prisons and jails would be if drugs were not prohibited?

That's funny. I have a small container of shatter within arms reach, and 2 others with wax in the fridge. I also have a contact or three that could get me "street" weed, but why? The legal stuff is so much higher quality. Yet, no child has gotten access to it. Not to mention... It's a plant. Not only is it already readily available even if the "street" version is all you can get, it also will grow in the ground if you plant a seed.

The functions of all of those are to keep us FREE, not safe. They have NO duty to "protect" anyone but themselves. They ALL take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, first and foremost. Authoritarianism is the antithesis of freedom, and prohibitions are the definition of authoritarianism. They ALWAYS cause more harm than they prevent. Always.

FL politicians, including Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, are openly against legalization and having it on the 2024 ballot, but for the credit of the SC, this time they admit that wording on the ballot initiative cannot be a disqualifying factor every time (as it has been in the past), because the authors have made their best effort to correct it based on SC instructions from past election cycles.

It's harder for children to get MJ, in states where it's legalized. Black market outlets are fewer where legal markets exist, and children are not able to purchase from legal outlets. Why do you hate children?

I don't have kids, so yeah, I don't care. If you let your kids get to your weed, then YOU are the problem, not people like me who don't even have those creatures in my home, or if they do, they at least know better than to allow them access to weed or any adult things.

Yes, she was. It is part of the draconian aspect of immigration. She broke no laws and just worked for a legal business in the state that is forbidden under federal law, the drug aspect of it, especially immigration law. Ironically, there is no precise definition under Immigration law of what "good moral character" is defined" although BIA has defined it somewhat. Most of what the BIA has focused on to what is not good moral character that includes being a member of the Nazi Party, being convicted or indicted on felonies such as murder, a laundry list of aggravated felonies under the immigration act, and a few other things. INA had some legal examples, blatantly obvious examples. of aggravated felonies, and the 1997 Immigration and Control Act added a few more. One such example is Committed unlawful acts that adversely reflect upon the applicant's moral character per 8 CFR 316.10. Most, except one that I stated is blatantly obvious. But the committed unlawful acts that adversely reflect upon the applicant's moral character" is loosely defined and that is the interpretation of that USCIS did.

If that is what it takes to keep them out of the hands of children, just like drugs.

ah, so you want Americans to give up all their freedoms... for the children (that also end up losing their freedoms when they grow up)
