Ae you totally insane? She made a complaint, the police acted on it, and presumably investigated further. How did the "anti-stand-your-ground-crowd" (whoever they may be) force them to do this?

Damn... I got caught not caring enough, with so many actual things going on, to put energy into researching a Zimmerman story.

She was not arrested as the article describes.. The article was satire, from a website that posts satire.

Pretty funny satire actually. I did laugh at the Zimmerman and Casey Anthony porn article they had.

It was probably just a ruse so she could use it in her favor during the divorce proceedings, either that or just get media attention. Either way I'm glad the (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) was busted.

Ah you're right - damn I'm suprised the OP was blind enough to miss that - it took about 5 seconds of scanning the frontpage to know it was obvious satire.

I think if a court case were pursued we would find the satire of this article not too far from the truth. It appears she assaulted him with the Ipad.

Just like the whole trial itself was satire. Everytime I remember how some people actually believed George was guilty I laugh my arse off! LOL!

A trial is now "satire" in your mind?

I have to go with doombug on this. The prosecutor knew there was no case going into the trial. But because pressure was brought to bear by Sharpton and his ilk, the state was forced to take it there. All the dirty tricks by the prosecutor and revamping of the charges by the judge still failed to bring any evidence into the light to be able to overcome the burden of proof required by law. It was doomed to fail from the start. It merely became a horse and pony show for the media. I can also point out the media is still hounding this issue for some people who cannot get past it.
It was, in essence, a joke that cost the taxpayers a lot of money for nothing.
and I think doombug was only referring to this case as satire...........

Which brings up the question, Did Trayvon have an I-Pad with which he could have recorded the alleged aggressive actions of Zimmerman? Oops--now I've given ammunition to the Trayvon Truthers, who will claim that their saint recorded it all but the racist police destroyed that evidence!

Not sure why a legit story like this is in humor & satire but let's just say the liberal media once again failed to flim flam the zim zam.

No, just this one. You know where a bunch of clueless folks demanded a trial that ended in acquittal anyway. They could have listened to me to begin with and saved themselves a bunch of butt hurt.

It's because it's not a real story, the article is from a spoof site, like the Onion.

    - - - Updated - - -

No, the OP is from a spoof news site like the Onion - so the story wasn't real, it was just a satire. The OP must've missed that because they thought it was an actual news article, even though it's actually a comedy website.

She hired a Conehead for a lawyer? I thought they were just characters in an SNL skit.
