Anger is growing that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is behind a desk at Army North at Ft. Sam Houston, and not in front of a court martial, Newsradio 1200 WOAI reports.

"I hope they have somebody over there watching him," Army Lt. Col (ret) Jeffrey Addicott, a long time Army Judge Advocate, told San Antonio's First News. "He deserted before, he's certainly capable of doing it again."

The Army is slow-walking an investigation of Bergdahl, who members of his unit say intentionally left his position at a forward post in Afghanistan before being captured by the Taliban in 2009. He was a prisoner for five years before being swapped for five top ranking Taliban members in a controversial deal in May.

Yes, LET US ON A POLITICAL BOARD, determine his 'criminal' future or lack there of instead of his medical team, the US ARMY, ARMY JAG, his CO's and the rest of his unit that DIDN'T go on FOX.

On your mark, get set go....

The medical team found him fit for duty. It's now time to start the investigation. That is exactly what a court marshall is designed to do. Hear his account as to what happened.

I think the Army should investigate before any hanging.

Seriously- they should finish any investigation and then if the results warrant it, initiate a court martial.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that the military has no jurisdiction over him unless he IS a part of the military. Is that too far-fetched?
