yes. Locker rooms aren't based on gender ideology they're based on sex.

A gay male is still a male so because these things are divided by sex he would use the locker room or bathroom designated to his sex.

    Why wouldn't he?
really you can't tell the difference between a man and a trans man? A gay man is male a trans man is female. You don't know the difference between males and females?
because they're wanting to go into the locker room of the opposite sex. Locker rooms changing rooms and bathrooms are segregated on the basis of sex.

A trans man is a different sex than a man who isn't trans.

Do you really not understand the difference here?
No it's because trans people are the opposite sex than the people in the locker room they wish to use.

Do you seriously not understand the differences between the sexes or are you just ignoring it

I would challenge that that trans were around in the stone age. Of course, they could use any tree as a restroom back then! The image of femininity is a social construct. A skirt and a hat with a fuzzy ball on top may not be the image of masculinity everywhere.

Trans have always used the bathroom that aligned with the clothing they wear.
Can you imagine a trans female with a miniskirt on going into a men's restroom and the uproar that would cause?

It's just that there isn't a genital check before one enters a restroom.
And now it's just a political football.
Before now one knew and for the most part even today, no one knows when a trans enters the bathroom of the clothing they are wearing.

It's not the trans people having the issue, it's the MAGA crowd.
Trans just want to do what they've been doing for centuries.

It has nothing to do with the idea of femininity.
It has to do with the brain function of one gender being different from the physical body.
This is not new and goes back centuries or longer.

Back in Roman rule days I think they were even put on some sort of pedestal.

Transgender Lives in Ancient Rome: The Case of Empress Elagabalus
    Posted on September 6, 2019

While history often seems bereft of queer lives, nothing could be further from the truth. Transgender people have always been around in one form or another, though the terminology that we’ve used to describe ourselves has changed over time. Much of our history has either been purposefully destroyed, as in the case of Nazis burning queer books, or is reinterpreted through a modern cishet lens. Because of this, it is important to reclaim queer figures in history, such as the transgender empress of Rome Elagabalus.

Not only has the brain function myth been debunked it's observably false. When a trans woman gets upset they get combative and affective exactly like a man usually does and when a trans man gets upset they tend to deal with it exactly like a woman usually does.

Trans people are a recent thing they didn't exist in ancient Rome

A person has two things, a physical side and a mental side. Try whatever you want to do physically, a male born a male is forever male, and a female born a female is forever female. By all means try to disguise one for the other due to society's traditions (clothes, hair, make up, perfume etc..), but they can't defeat nature. In most cases, the physical matches the mental, the hardware matches the software.

And bicker on forever and a day over sports, dresses, bathrooms etc.. but one thing is for sure, I have morals so I can't lie over this changing sex nonsense.

He was in a flood zone in the aftermath of hurricane Ian in the town where I live in fact. He was actually getting things done like getting gas to the people that were stranded in the county by the flood.

He actually had on boots designed for a purpose but it seems that you don't understand what the purpose was.

The bolded part has been my view on this for a while. If you're transgender and want to use the bathroom of the gender you're transitioning to, do the transition first. Get the surgeries. Once you've transitioned as far as medical science can take you currently, then you can use the other bathroom.

However, the surgery still wouldn't make me want to let men play on women's sports teams(that weren't already co-ed to begin with).

This is a common misconception. Not all transitioning needs to have the full SRS. The whole point of transitioning is to alleviate the GD. One only needs to do what is necessary for that goal. Transitioning can be as simple as presenting.

I'm starting to see a lot of individual bathrooms that are not sex specific. Use either or. I hope to see a lot more of these.

I've been seeing more actual restrooms that are unisex. Individual stalls and common area sinks. I've yet to hear of any incidents from them. I am seeing them mostly at conventions, either as part of the facility or some restrooms designated as such and their male/female signs removed. Every time I've been in, it's been go in, do your business, wash your hands, leave with no fuss. The most interaction was one cosplaying woman asked me to zip her up, but otherwise everything was covered.

Wouldn't the boots come in colors that a hetero man who wasn't a trans would wear?

    Provide this debunked studies/data.

Cleveland Clinic and many other reputable clinics have studied the brain functions of male, female, and trans.

I also provided a link to 1 story about trans people in ancient Rome.
Provide you data that there were no trans back then.

The trans types have been around for as long a Homosexual types.
    They are similar.

Proving a negative fallacy. Prove to me that you didn't beat your mother and successfully hide it. You can't. A negative can only be proved by proving an mutually exclusive positive. For example I can only prove something is not yellow, by proving that it is of a color frequency that does not fall under the range of the color yellow.

    What is nature?
Who says anyone is trying to defeat nature?
Most are just trying to live as their identity/mind/brain/etc, have them wired as, so to speak.

Of course in most cases the physical matches the mental.
But LGBTQ issues are not about the most cases. That's why they are about 5-10% of the population.

Not even sure how morals enters into this.
It has been, IMO, been immoral of the past that forced groups of people to hide in a closet and be treated as sub humans. Be made to feel guilty for who they are.

But I provided evidence of trans people in Ancient Rome that perhaps the other poster didn't understand or read.

Actually black and white are the common colors.

But thanks for displaying that you're okay with homo shaming. I'll have to remember that's okay now

Homo shaming? How's that homo shaming. Or is referring to Desantis as gay because of his clothing choices shaming gays by comparing Desantis to them?
Yeah, that's got to be it.

True. The Romans do have an interesting history. Cleo Patra was a man, but that was not the way Julius sees her.
