Shall we drug test people who collect government benefits?

That is for a different thread. This thread is for lefties to answer as they seem hell bent on punishing the unvaccinated, of which there seem to be many blacks, illegals, and the poor.

If the unvaccinated lost government assistance it would be a massive attack on our minority citizens who by percentage are the highest nonvaccinated. If as one of our posters wanted we sent them to jail as well you would be sending 55% of all African Americans too prison. So roughly 23 million African Americans would be put into prison. We fought a war to free less people.

I voted "Other", because I think that unvaccinated people should lose ONLY UNEARNED GOVERNMENT BENEFITS.

What does that mean? Social Security benefits that are earned after working until retirement at the minimum age of 62 should not be touched by the government -- and neither should Medicare earned by working even the bare minimum of ten years (40 quarters). Military retirement pensions and other benefits reserved for persons who served in the military or government civil service careers should be left completely undisturbed also!

But, all the mountains of government handout welfare money and other giveaways should be cut off completely to any citizen who refuses to be vaccinated against this pandemic disease....

78% of the hospitalized were obese.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/08/cov...le-hospitalized-were-overweight-or-obese.html

Only 72% of the hospitalized were less than fully vaccinated

Do you think that the obese should lose government benefits?

Speaking of government benefits: Democrats silent over unemployment benefits cliff despite some Biden aides sounding alarm.

"Dems seem silent about a number of things lately."

Democrat lawmakers "three" pandemic "relief programs will expire on Labor Day leaving than 7 million out-of-work Americans without an income."

As these 7 million go out to get jobs, employers will know that these are the folks that sat on the couch until the last possible moment.

Biden Jobs Trend - August Numbers 32% Of Expectations. Economists "Surprised!"

Means the loss of about $5B in sugar high money. (Available Spending that is not the result of the production of goods and services)

    Listen to this clown:
Paying people not to work does not increase the production of goods and services. And the ignorant nicompoop continued:
32% of expectations is a "little under" in much the same sense that being paid $320/wk is a "little under" a $1,000/wk.
Weird Whispering Biden claimed this would drive up wages, and it has to an extent, at the cost of driving down employment gains. Which if the knuckle head had any brains, he would have realized a long time ago. When something costs more, you can afford fewer of them.

Should any person who makes unhealthy piss poor life choices also lose government benefits?

I think you should get vaccinated. But I am not going to discriminate against those who chose not too.

Not sure that that is the way to go. But say, as of November 1st, 2021, anyone who is not vaccinated and shows up at a hospital because of Covid-19 should be forced to pay his or her costs up-front before being admitted. Personal responsibility and all the jazz, nöööö. Bootstraps and zest for life, you know.

Accept for the fact that vaccinated catch Delta in high numbers. While the vaccines do help prevent serious illness, they don't do crap at stopping you from coming down with Delta and getting very sick from it. Highly vaccinated countries are now seeing more and more vaccinated people in hospitals and dying. Biden is apparently fine with that outcome.

Tell you what. To be 100% fair, I will research this for both of us, down to the metadata. But what I have been gauging at my bigly Covid-19 thread tells me that this is not the case. So, hold my beer on that one. Ok, forget that, hold my gin-and-tonic.

I have already researched this. The information is available if you look for it but the Biden administration and the lefty media are very good at covering up and using slight of hand on the subject because they have a political agenda - blame the unvaccinated for everything. They won't come out and tell you the truth. They hide it and imply that everything is the unvaccinated's fault when, in fact, the vaccinated are spreading Delta just as much or even more than the unvaccinated. Now the vaccines are quite good at mitigating serious side effects and deaths, but they do almost nothing regarding the spread of the Delta variant. In most of the most recent data on the subject, the Biden administration, the experts, and the lefty media have all but given up on saying that the vaccines protect against the spread of Delta, only concentrating on how good vaccines limit serious infections and deaths. That should tell you something there. Please watch the following 21 minute video and it will explain it to you. You have to take the time to watch the entire video. Don't give up on it after 3 minutes.

I was asking my question to the left really as the left are so gung ho about getting everyone vaccinated and punishing people for not getting vaccinated so I wondered how they felt about this policy effecting the poor who get government benefits.

I thought so... I'm just adding in a secondary question to it.

This shitty line of thinking on the part of commie liberals can be extended to anything medically related (and they know that). They are advocating for medical tyranny (and subsequently, tyranny in general, as this is how they operate). The installed Biden Regime is already pushing medical tyranny via their illegal, unconstitutional, Nuremberg Code violating declaration that a large subset of Americans must all undergo a medical procedure against their will in order to retain their jobs which provide for their families.

Anyone denied benefits should then equally be exempt from paying any kind of taxation. You can't have your cake and eat it, unless, you feel we live in Utopia.
