No it's not, but I thought that there was a good chance that it's what you think. I'm glad to see that you have more sense than I thought!

Well if he was found guilty of treason or inciting a riot, why would you not think that he should go to prison like you would if he was found guilty of "bread and butter corruption?"

Donald belongs in jail for trying to rig the election and attempting a coup.
He's an enemy of the US in the service of Ruzzia.

They can join him in prison if they break the law.

Either you intended on that misspelling, or that's the most hilariously ironic thing I've ever seen anyone say!

Well, stranger things have happened than that spelling being a hilarious ironic error. But I suspect that it was on purpose. And for your sake I HOPE that's the case.

I do think justice has to be seen to be done. Thing is if he is not prosecuted it sets up a precedent. Nixon should have been prosecuted

They absolutely are answers. If you're only concerned about the potential wrongdoings of one party while ignoring those of another it means that you don't really care about seeing justice served you just have a partisan desire for revenge against the party you don't like.

Just imagine if president Trump had kept top secret information on a private server and destroyed 30,000 subpoenaed emails. Imagine if he created a phony Russian dossier to spy on and smear his opposition with.

Imagine if a setting President helped him do these things. The fact that you ignore all of that and don't have a problem with it tells volumes about your motive here.

Not sure his supporters won’t abandon him - I know there has been little evidence of that so far but we saw it with Nixon and with George W who was waaaaay more popular than Trump. Trumps abandonment of the Proud Boys etc I think is probably doing more to alienate his base than anything else

No problem then - show us some definitive wrong doing - not something imaginary like crap the right smears around but something that would stand up in court

BTW “But he did it too” is not an excuse

If there is wrongdoing then it should go to court - no matter which party is involved

jan 6 committee is laying it out nicely for everyone to see but there is also this

    https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/the-complete-listing-atrocities-1-1-056

    And this

like to explain how asking for a rewrite of the votes to the exact number that would win him the election is NOT a crime?

Would you like to explain how keeping top secret information on a non-secured personal server is not a crime? Would you like to explain how knowingly destroying subpoenaed evidence is not a crime?

What are you wasting time here on the forum for? Evidently you've got this thing all figured out so you should be busy calling the FBI or something

Perhaps persecuted, but I'm not sure about jail. We can joke about it and we would like it, but that's pretty crazy stuff.

It's the stuff of a banana Republic. If you dig deep enough you can find crimes in any administration.

Other presidents have done jail time - not in the US but France I think has locked up more than one
